Needed a better wide angle view. I live on a corner lot giving me 3 entry doors. 2 cameras burned out (in a short period of time). I tried the dome cameras but did not get the coverage I needed. I switch back to the bullets and I am very happy with my coverage. I love the safety and surveillance these cameras give me. Very happy.

I can't speak for every Swann System, But the System that I bought, I like 100%, I Hooked this System up to my 50 Inch Flat Screen TV, Like now, It's Midnight, I can see everything as if it was day time, It's very Clear, I have not had any trouble with this system, I would buy this same System again, I have the system with Wires, I had to string all the wires, But I don't know anything about the Wireless System, So I picked this System, I like it.....

This camera records in 1080P but should be sufficient variating on your security needs. When remotely accessing, the application has 3 different settings for streaming quality; low, medium, and high. If you are having problems streaming you can lower the settings and test to see if it improves. Note that lowering the stream settings does not affect the quality of the recordings. If you have very fast upload speeds you can set your camera to high, but if your upload speed is not that good then we recommend you use medium or low for the streaming setting. Camera is very good - however customer service is marginal. The original system had setup problems and was updated with later microcode. So far so good. I showed some great features but they were difficult to setup. Customer service were evasive on setup procedures, as if they had never seen the features before. Eventually they wore me down. So the DVR works but could be sooo much better of customer service were better trained and willing.

These cameras are pretty good for the price. You do seem to get some things that looks like bugs flying around at night but for the price I can live with it.
