A: Hi Denise - Thank you for your interest in this pretty Indoor Outdoor Orb and Globe String Lights Clear/White. The string light uses an 0.65W LED light with an e12 candelabra base that can be screwed into the string sockets. The product is not intended to use alternative lights or bulbs. Lights have been put up less than a week and already have water and dirt inside the lightbulbs. Keep having to get a ladder to tighten the lights that randomly go out. Super cute look but were some of the more expensive lights out there to be such poor quality. Doesn't seem like they will last long

Item not as pictured…
Previous reviews are correct - the sweet fluted tops on these lights are gray. What the!?!? The pictures shows a clean, bright white and what you get is a primer gray. Seriously disappointing, Target. These could have been SO cute. I'm confused. The shades are plastic which I hate but was willing to overlook for the style. But putty gray plastic with a faux wood grain on top? Yuck, yuck and yuck. You got two starts because I love the ruffled edge and they are LED.

Petals are gray, not white
I received two boxes, both with gray flowers instead of white like the photos and description show. They must have skipped a paint step in manufacturing. I was so excited for these! You’d think there were many aware of the issue before they opened these for ordering on drop day and before shipping orders, but Target didn’t update the product page or notify buyers, super disappointed in that part. These will likely go back.

Not warm enough lighting
I just purchased these this week and was so excited to string them up in our family room for some fun twinkly ambience in the evenings and early mornings. I didn’t expect the white pleated shapes to be such cheap plastic, they looked more elegant in the photos. But the main thing is the light they give off is more of a bright cool tone instead of a warm relaxing one. I’m returning and sticking with normal twinkle lights.

Not white
I was so excited about these lights and ordered 2 packs online as soon as they became available but I am pretty disappointed. They appear in the online photos to be white and the description states that they are also white. But they are primer gray in person and do not remotely have a white tone to them, while the cord is a true white. They also feel and look like cheap gray plastic. Debating whether to try and paint them or just return. The gold part and the gray part seem to be fully attached so you would have to remove bulbs and then tape off the gold areas in order to paint. Bummed.
