A: Hi Lily - What a great piece for organizing your space! This item can be displayed horizontally or vertically and is stackable in vertical orientation. I hope they work for you! Happy organizing! - Jenny
A: Hello. This unit can be stacked horizontally. Thank you for your inquiry.
A: It doesn't make any sense that this unit can be stacked vertically, which would make it over 70 inches tall, but not horizontally, which would be a much more stable se-up.

A: SA Shirl - Jenny is answering Lily's question. She does not say the shelf cannot be stacked horizontally.
A: Dear Target Team Member please don't answer if you do not know the product. The back panels are NOT attatched, the box comes with 24 finishing nails to attach the back panels in any of the cubes or not at all. It comes with 2 back panels so you will have one cube without one.
A: Hello. You can choose which holes to put the backer on. However, the recommended placement is for the best overall stability of the unit. Thank you for your inquiry.
A: This comes with 2 loose cardboard backers to attach anywhere you like. =)
A: Hello akos14 - Thanks for checking on this 3-cube organizer. It comes with the backing already attached, so you'd be unable to alter that. It can be used vertically or horizontally, which is a nice option. Hope it works for you. - Andrew
A: Actually, when I bought this item, I needed a hammer to nail the back cardboard panels in place. I think I also needed a screw driver. Unless this cube-shelf kit has changed and now comes with tools, I would look into a basic hammer and a phillips screwdriver. Good luck!
A: It comes with dowels, finishing nails and screws. You will need a hammer and screw driver.
A: Hello. you will need a Phillips head screwdriver and hammer. Thank you for your inquiry.

A: Hi jc920 - A place for everything, and everything in its place; this Room Essentials 3-Cube Organizer Shelf will get you started! When displayed horizontally, the weight capacity is 20 lbs. on the top, evenly distributed. Thanks! - Julie
A: Honestly I suppose it could be hung but it isn't made to hang so no predrilled holes, no hardware etc... It's a heavy object as far as hanging goes so lots of support, mounted to studs etc... wall anchors simply wouldn't do the job. It would be more trouble than it's worth IMO.
A: Hello. No, this unit can not be hung on the wall. It is a floor mount system with an L-bracket to secure it to the wall, from the floor. Thank you for your inquiry.
A: Hello Josie - Thanks for asking about this superb organizer shelf. This cube organizer is designed to be displayed horizontally or vertically on the ground, and is not designed to be hung on a wall. Have a great day! - Christopher
A: Standard binders are usually more than 11 inches long, so they wouldn't fit in these cubbies standing up - you would have to store them laying down or sideways, with the spine on the bottom or the top, which would be difficult to keep in place when you remove one binder. I think you should get a unit with 13 inch cubes for storing binders.
A: Hello. The inside dimensions of 1 Cube: 11.25 in.H x 11.25 in. W x 11.75 in. D, so you should have no problem fitting a regular sized binder in the shelves. Thank you for your inquiry.
A: Hi Jody S- Thanks for your question. This is a great piece for an office. We'd recommend anything 11 inches in height or smaller if you are looking for the perfect fit. We hope this helps! - Amber
A: We did stack them, manufacturer included pegs and predrilled holes for stacking. I assume that meant it was ok to do that. Looks great next to my shower for extra items needed and even a standing picture.
A: Hello. Yes, you can stack up to 2 units horizontally, as long as each is secured to the wall before stacking with the included L-brackets. Thank you for your inquiry.
A: Hi Jodi - Thanks for the question! These shelf units are meant to stand alone and stacking them is not recommended. Have a great day! - Matt
A: Hello. When used vertically, top shelf weight capacity is 15lbs. When used horizontally, top shelf weight capacity is 50lbs. Thank you for your inquiry.
A: I have a medium sized plant sitting on top and its holding up well. Unlike the shelves inside the top and the very bottom shelf can take the weight.
A: It states aprox 30lbs per shelf
