I like the wooden cake stands but was very upset when they arrived in a large box with absolutely no packaging or protection. I ordered (2) so they were just rattling around in the large box. Target should get it together on how they protect their items.

This cake stand doesn't spin, but I bought a Lazy Susan turntable for $11.99 elsewhere on target. It comes in tomorrow. It will either go on top or on the bottom of the cake stand, depending on how it works out. I'll give an updated review. I want to bake a cake that is as moist as it would be in a bread pan, so I bought three 6 inches wide and 3 inches tall pans. They fit perfectly inside the Baines dome, which I got on sale for $58.31. And the dome fits perfectly inside the stand. It did what I needed it to when I bought it. I thought it looked very classy. However I’m writing this a year and a half after I bought it. I only ever wiped down with a damp rag and occasionally with a bit of soap. It is falling apart at the seams. The dome I bought no longer works for it because it’s so warped. It’s very pretty but plan on replacing it in under two years
