This fun straw tumbler will keep kids hydrated without any fuss! You can prevent messes and spills with a cup that won't leak: the attached straw has a valve that allows easy access to water, but won't drip when the tumbler is tipped over. The straw is also made from antimicrobial materials, to help prevent the spread of germs. A screw-on lid means a secure fit, and vacuum insulation will prevent condensation from forming on the outside of the cup, in addition to keeping drinks cold. A: There’s a hole near the base of the straw. Try cleaning or poking a straw brush through there. That helped for us!

Q: Are these not actually dishwasher safe? Daycare ran our brand new cup through the top rack and the design is totally ruined and the cups pain is chipped :(

Q: I see that this is listed for cold drinks. Is there a reason I couldn’t use it for a warm drink? I’d like to keep my toddler’s milk slightly warm (not hot just warm). Would this work for that?

A: Yes, however, Zak Designs does not recommend "hot" liquids for tumblers that use straws and spouts. It can be dangerous if pressure builds up and if hot enough, could result in burns.

Decoration peels off
Very cute and convenient, however the green decoration peels off after putting cup into dishwasher. Description says it is dishwasher safe. Pretty pricey cup to have ruined even when following cleaning directions.

I have 3 Zak comes, this one is “dishwasher safe” I’ve never ran it through the dishwasher but the coating comes off with regular washing sadly , so didn’t hold up even for a month

Do Not Recommend
I bought this tumbler for my 16 month old daughter not even 2 months ago. I’ve only been able to use it at least 5 times. It leaks pretty bad and unfortunately customer service hasn’t been much help with getting the issue resolved. I’ve sent pictures and videos of the milk literally spilling out of the straw and the air valve. I will not be using this product anymore.

Smelly
It smells after awhile and no matter how well I clean it the smell doesn’t go away. I have 2 my daughter has 2 both smell. Yes I take it totally apart hand wash dishwasher wash makes no difference. The cup I love it does not leak keeps things cold just really smelly after a while not at first it’s months down the road. Tossed them out this morning.

I wish I saw the reviews, the cup does peel & paint gets everywhere. All over my toddler’s hands and I’m afraid he has ingested it while he is eating. I bought the dinosaur pattern. I only had this cup for less than 2 weeks and never put it in the dishwasher. Handwashed only.

It does keep his milk cold for longer than a plastic cup and we love the stainless steel design. However, disappointed because we have had the cup for two months and the dinosaur print has almost completely faded off (mostly hand wash...maybe have put it in the dishwasher once although it says dishwasher safe).

Design coming off after less than a week
The cup itself is great. It has a stopper in the straw so it doesn’t leak when my 1 year old holds it upside down. However, after less than a week of use, the design is already coming off. We don’t use any harsh cleaners and use a soft sponge. And my son only uses it at meal times so not sure what is causing the design to come off so quickly.
