Q: Ours have been really hard to suck out of, is there something we can do to change that?
A: There’s a hole near the base of the straw. Try cleaning or poking a straw brush through there. That helped for us!

Q: I see that this is listed for cold drinks. Is there a reason I couldn’t use it for a warm drink? I’d like to keep my toddler’s milk slightly warm (not hot just warm). Would this work for that?
A: Yes, however, Zak Designs does not recommend "hot" liquids for tumblers that use straws and spouts. It can be dangerous if pressure builds up and if hot enough, could result in burns.

Q: What percent stainless steel is the cup body please? 18-0 is ideal
A: All food contact surfaces in Zak Designs Food and Hydration containers are 18/8 SS.

Q: Two of our ZAK cups leak out from under the screw on lid and runs down the sides of the cup. Any tips for preventing that? Thank you!
A: Check that the seal is present. Make sure the lid is 100% dry before assembling for use.

A: We do not mix non-traditional elements with our stainless steel. Our stainless steel is 100% stainless steel utilizing the industry standard elements. The primary elements for stainless steel are iron and chromium.

Q: It seems like the outer design comes off (and even falls into one reviewers food!) is the paint safe? To eat? If it is rubbing off so easy…
A: That is not normal and we use a non-toxic paint.
