Q: Is there any way to remove the scratches? Plates scratched up after 2 uses - from silverware! Tried dishwasher as well as soft scrub sponge. The scratches seem to be permanent.

A: You can try using barkeepers friend, it depends on how deep the scratches are or you can try baking soda.

Scratches from normal use
The dishes look great and seem very nice. However, after two uses, the plates were scratched up from using silverware. These scratches are permanent - neither dishwasher nor a soft scrub sponge removed them. Ver Disappointed!

I ordered this online, and it came directly from the manufacturer and was delivered quickly! It was packaged well, and none of the pieces arrived broken, which was a relief. It says its okay in the microwave for short periods, which I haven't tested yet, but it's lasted through the dishwasher a couple of times now with no fading to the gold rim. So far I'm very happy with this plate set!
