I was excited to get this glass mug from Room Essentials because of the unusual handle and modern look but, excitement turned into disappointment because the mug is very thin glass. I was really surprised to see this mug is microwave and dishwasher safe because one false move and this is cracking or chipping. I definitely recommend hand washing only. I was even concerned about putting hot liquids into this mug so I used it for iced tea. The handle was easy to use but I also noticed a spot on the underside of the handle that was rough and not smooth. I think it’s a good value for a fancy mug but I prefer something sturdier. I really love that it’s dishwasher and microwave safe too. The glass does feel pretty thin which makes the mug feel a bit cheap when using it, but the look of it is not cheap. It’s very aesthetically pleasing. I also like the size of the mug, for varying sizes of coffee or even the option to have room for ice if I wanted an iced latte. It’s totally dishwasher safe and microwave safe. I love that it’s clear and while I was drinking my coffee the handle did not get hot after I used it. Perfect for anyone that loves coffee, tea or a warm drink I did notice it doesn’t stay warm for a long time. It only stays warm for a short amount of time.
