Poor quality, does not hold up. My roomba was constantly pulling up fibers from this rug. Poor purchase and will not buy again. Bought in indigo color, two 2x3 and the largest size which was expensive.
I love this rug. I have it in both the 2’6”x4’ and the 5’x7’. The material reminds me of a jute rug and there is a wool/felt pad attached to the bottom. I would still recommend a rug pad if you are placing it on hardwood/tile floors.
I would not recommend this if you have pets that like to pee on rugs. The directions say, “spot clean only” and I would not throw this type of rug in the wash or shampoo it.
This rug and matching rugs are in my sewing area. They provide excellent protection for my hardwoods, and look great. I like the fabric backing and binding. I showed pictures to my neighbor, and she has them too - perfect for her growing children.
Love the rug (we actually have the dinner, a small one and 2 area rugs because we love it so much) but the shipping was horrible. The whole rug wasn't wrapped so when it arrived, one side of it was black and ripped up! Had a headache of a time trying to return it. My suggestion is buy it in store!
When I first bought this rug, I was so pleased with how it looked in my living room. It had such a light, natural look while not showing dirt easily. I was very happy with this purchase for a solid 10 months before disaster. The rug did not let on any signs of wear and tear until all at once, the shedding began. Big clumps of lint covered our living room despite trying to vacuum it up every day. We thought it may be a new fuzzy blanket we had gotten since the lint balls came on so suddenly. After about a week of trying to find other things that could be causing this mess, we tossed the rug and have been lint-free ever since. The shedding seemed like it would not slow or stop, so just be weary. I would have been much more upset if this had happened to me as soon after purchasing as it did to others.
Two months in and the shedding started. This rug was great at first. It's thin, I think it needs a rug pad, but I usually use rug pads under all rugs. This rug went into my playroom and despite some complaint from my son that it wasn't as soft as the last rug, it certainly looked better. In December, I noticed white fuzz on my black lab. I couldn't figure it out but every morning she had a layer of fuzz on her. Over Christmas, the kids were playing knee hockey in the playroom and they were COVERED in the fuzz. Now it's everywhere. On dark furniture in the room, rolling out into the other room, on the dog (still), all over my kids. I'm vacuuming every day (ok, the roomba is) and I'm giving it 30 days to see if the fuzz stops or slows down, otherwise it will be replaced. My last rug was also a Target rug and did not shed at all (though made differently).
