I bought one of these a few years ago, and today I decided I wanted more space. I noticed that the rod connectors looked like they could connect another set, so I bought the same one and was pleased with the result. I knocked off a star because the fabric pieces don't seem super sturdy, although I've never had a problem with them.

I bought two units and stacked them on top of each other. The "fabric" on each shelf tore with the weight of my cats within two days. The fabric is more of a plastic coated paper. I sewed new fabric pieces out of actual fabric. The metal rods seem sturdy. I'm a little worried about the plastic connectors, but so far they haven't broken.

I am OBSESSED. I have tried shoe storage options up the wazoo. I refuse to spend a ton, because they never last or hold up. And spending $40 on a 2 tier shelf is insane to me. So far, this was super easy to put together, is sturdy, and seems to be well built. And it’s VERY inexpensive. This is what I have been looking for the whole time! I have 2 units, and used 3 shelves in my TINY hall closet and one shelf in my walk in bedroom closet to assist with stacking boxes. You can easily store shoes under the bottom rack, to add to your storage space. This is perfection, in my opinion- 10/10!

I have a similar shoe rack that held up for over 18 months even with chonky cats sitting on them. The only reason I got this product (and multiple units) was so I can create more spaces for my shoes, boots, and sandals. I highly recommend getting one extra unit than how many shelves you want! I noticed in reviewer images that they kept their shoe rack on the peg legs. I made another fabric shelf and put it on the bottom of each of my racks for added hardware stability and to protect my carpet from dirt. In total, I used 3 units that can be seen if my review images aren't blurry. The price is pretty good for what you get.
