SquareTrade protection plans start from day one, SquareTrade sells extended protection to cover above and beyond what your manufacturer covers. Since SquareTrade is an extended warranty, any existing warranty from a seller or manufacturer does take precedent over the SquareTrade warranty. For normal mechanical and electronic failures, our coverage begins after the manufacturer’s warranty expires. Most items are covered up to one year by the manufacturer. We need sobody help us

They didn't return my payment

I returned the appliance on December 17, 2023, 90 days passed and they still did not return the protection, even though it indicated that it would be returned within 90 days after returning the equipment to target.

Waste of money!

Never buy this! Target claims it covers accidental damage, but it only covers technical damage. When you file a claim, Allstate first tells you to go through manufacturer. They then say they sell 2 different plans and you only bought the lower plan. There is never a plan option when you buy it and Allstate covers nothing that the manufacturer doesn’t cover. Waste of money.

Not what you think you are getting

Lets call it what it is. If you make us go to the manufacturer for the 1st year, then all we get from this plan is 1 additional year, calling it a 2 year plan is deceiving when you can only use for 1 year

Didn't make it obvious that this doesn't cover physical damage

I spent $30 just to realize it's only if I find a defect and not if I cause any physical damage. Once I got emailed this after I bought it, I tried to refund it but I can't. I'm sure this is fine if your scenario is if you somehow don't see that your product doesn't turn on after owning it for years
