Q: I was going to purchase the Sparkling Cinnamon Tumbler as a gift . Why are there negative comments about the scent not lasting. Is there an explanation why there is an issue with the scent ?

A: Hi! We appreciate your interest in our products. Smelling the fragrances is very subjective thing and can be affected by many factors. We take great pride in the fact that we use as much fragrance oil as we can to create a smell that is as true-to-life as possible while delivering a candle that will burn properly from the moment you light it until the end. There are, however, some scents that are just naturally stronger than others (think of a bouquet of flowers, chances are the lily will be the scent you smell above all others). Sometimes there is a scent that is more difficult for one person to smell while others smell it very strongly (cinnamon is a perfect example of this). Regardless of the strength of the fragrance, our bodies will become accustomed to something we smell regularly and we will no longer detect it (think of your own cologne or even shampoo that you don't really smell on you but others can). Environmental factors can also impact the strength of the scent e.g. the size of the room, other odors present, air flow and temperature. This is the 6th time I have ordered candles from Target & every single time 1, 2, or 3 candles arrive broken, literally smashed‼️ The.candles are individually wrapped but the inside of boxes are not stuffed to candles are easily bounced around which I have complained about every time to NO AVAIL, candles always POORLY PACKED ‼️‼️‼️

Smells heavenly!

Nice - needs scent improvement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Incentivized - received Yankee Candle (Balsam & Cedar) . It was packaged very well in order to prevent the product from breaking . The smell of the candle is nice . The only downside is that the candle didn’t really spread its scent around the room even with two wicks - it needs to be stronger . Otherwise , the candle is decent - it’s great for the holiday season .

yankee has gone downhill. onto better things.
Yankee has really home downhill. scent/soot/yuck- i had to have a wall repainted because of all the heavy soot that comes from these low quality/high cost candles. I’m moving on from this 90’s fad. It’s just not my jam now that i know better. Plus they just smell artificial and cheap now. ugh. no more yankee for me.
