Recently moved cross country into a new home. Needed bar stools but not prepared to spend a lot of money just yet. Searched for days and read reviews on multiple web sites but found nothing decent. Came across these Powell stools after viewing them elsewhere. No reviews but Target had the best price so I took a chance knowing they could easily be returned to my local store. Really glad I did because these stools are comfortable, sturdy, and definitely look just as nice as the photos, Assembly was easy but it took two of us to get the screws in right. Mostly because I had to sit on the seat in order for my husband to properly tighten them down. Not convinced the screws will hold since I'm not sure what they're screwed in to so that's a concern. The plastic foot coverings are great for protecting our hardwood floors but they are really thin plastic so I fully expect them to fail without too much use. Too bad because the frame is decent quality. We don't have kids so we're easy on furniture. All said, I don't expect these stools to last forever but that's ok. They look nice, are comfortable to sit in and didn't break the bank. I would definitley buy them again.
