Q: Can the shade on the lamp be changed?

submitted by Nancy - 10 months ago

  • A: Yes all of our lamps are interchangeable with other shades. This specific style shade uses a spider fitter, So you would just need to make sure the lamp shade is compatible with that. The easiest way to know that a shade is compatible with a spider fitter is if the wires are on the top of the shade.

Q: Is there anything I can do to stop the coating from coming off? Has the problem been fixed so I could replace it? I took it out of the box but haven't removed the tag or plastic wrap on the shade.

submitted by Phyllis - 11 months ago

  • A: Hello, Thanks for the inquiry. The 24" Textured Terracotta Farmhouse Table Lamp by Nourison does not list any known widespread coating issues, and there is no official fix or update indicating that the problem has been resolved. Since you have not removed the tag or plastic wrap, the best option is to request a replacement or return through the retailer, as attempting to repair or seal the coating yourself could void the warranty.

Not exactly what i bought

Firstly, I had a problem with one of my lamps. There clearly was paint in 3 large areas that were mistakes that reached me the customer. So I’ll have to get a new lamp and return this one. Secondly someone mentioned a gray knob on top of lamp; mine are nickel like other metal. Thirdly, the overall quality is fine, about what I expected for the price. However the look is not exactly the same. I bought the beige lamp with the brown texture and white lampshade. None of the colors were what I thought. There were all darker. That works ok for me but it might not for others.

Not whhat is advertised

Quality is cheap, and lamp coloring does not match the photo with the product.

Great lamp

It’s a very nice lamp, great size and has nice texture to it. The one thing - the knob at the top that holds on the shade is grey, which is a little weird.
