24ct Summer Craft Nature Floral Preserves Kit - Mondo Llama™

You are supposed to use pressed flowers with it but I did not realize they didn’t come with it so instead I used glitter to decorate the book marks with and it still worked pretty good. Honestly the ideas are pretty endless when it comes to how to decorate these. I do think you might need some spray glue to use on them after to ensure they stay together. It is easy to use, and a beautiful craft and could be a perfect gift for others

The concept seemed so fun. I was so excited to make these when I got home. Well, there's no flowers included the box. So I searched the box to see in that was stated anywhere. Well it was but in small font, on the back, on thw bottom of the box. Why? It seemed like they didn't want to make you aware of it. Why? Im going to try and still do it but other customers state how you have to dry the flowers out at home. Why? Lol. Why didn't they just put some fake flowers inside the box lol

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this product because it’s such a cool concept and my kids were SO excited when I told them about it. However, upon opening this product definitely wasn’t tested by a kid. Neither of my kids (4 and 3) could peel the stickers by themselves, which made it a buzzkill for all of us in terms of independence. We lost half the backings in the process, so some of the stickers didn’t have anything to stick to either. I received an incentive to write this review.

I didn’t read the box ahead of time and assumed this would have everything I needed to do. First, I had to take my kids out in nature to collect the leaves, which resulted in me walking a mile in 95 degree weather chasing three toddlers. Then, I had to worry about snakes and poison ivy. When we came home, I was exhausted and the directions told me to dry the flowers which there was absolutely no way we were doing. We abandoned this in about five mins and moved on to sticking random craft supplies to these. And then, the strings needed to be cut and there were no scissors nearby. Anyway, don’t buy this craft unless you have incredible patience or your kids are like 12. I received an incentive to write this review.

It doesn’t seem like the sticky side would hold the fresh flowers very well, though. I would suggest drying out the flowers beforehand which seemed to work a bit better but still wouldn’t want my 5 year old sticking this in his book- would definitely create a mess! Overall a cute concept just needs better execution. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This floral bookmark activity from Mondo Llama is a great concept but I wasn't impressed with the quality. My 6 and 4 year old had a fun time picking the flowers and putting them on the sticky part but the flowers did not stay on and when putting the bookmark back together it didn't stick like it should. It was very flimsy too. My kids probably put way too many flowers on it so we are going to try limiting the amount next time. I received an incentive to write this review.

Unfortunately these were really cheap and did not hold flowers well. I was excited to try these out with my toddler for a fun activity but the pieces are flimsy and the whole set just feels cheap and flowers didn’t stay in place well. The idea of the activity is nice and you can put a few flowers in and hang them up but I wouldn’t recommend it.

Make sure you press and dry your flowers We tried it with fresh flowers and pressed flowers. Even with the flowers pressed, the plastic bookmarks don’t stick back together the best. It’s a fun activity and I’m hoping the bookmarks will adhere better after they’ve been squished in a books for bit.

Hey worldwide web users, Today my review is for the brand Mondo Llama create-your-own floral Nature Preserves bookmarks kit. This craft kit is so cute it’s a nice way to spend the day making a little time pass with your kid, as a church activity or as an adulting hobby. This would make a great gift to pass out especially with Mother’s Day coming up. This kit comes with 24 total mason jar and butterfly mix bookmarks, jute hanging strings, tweezers and the instruction sheet. It’s was a bit confusing at first because I thought when it said to place the stickers inside it came with floral stickers and it was missing pieces but then I read the box and it says it doesn’t come with the dried flowers. So you can also make that as an activity to take the day and collect the flowers to complete the bookmarks and also take the time to dry them out first. This is very easy to put together and states it’s for kids age 6 and up which I believe they can do and any age would enjoy. The finished product is beautiful and makes for a nice way to keep your book page or you can just use it as a pretty decoration if you want to hang from wall space.

Really cute kit but if you are like me I thought there would be dried elements to choose from. I suggest pairing either seeds or dried/pressed flowers of you start gifting to someone without access to flower or nature elements.
