Q: Can this be used as a strobe light?
A: Idk why the person below said no. Yes it does have a strobe function. You can also change the speed of the effect. I purchased this 2 weeks ago and it’s great.
submitted byJrs - 1 year agoA: I don’t know why customer service says it cannot be used as a strobe light. It comes with a remote control. You can determine which of multiple colors you want to use and there are FOUR functions on the remote: Flash, Strobe, Fade and Smooth. So yes, it can be used as a strobe.

Q: How many watts is this light?
A: It is NOT battery powered!!! The remote takes batteries. There is no information on the box or booklet regarding watts.

If you are wondering how bright the light is, this is a decorative LED product that does not come with a lumen (brightness) rating. Q: Battery or Electric? It states it's battery operated but then states it's plug in electric??? Which is it???
A: I purchased this product. It is a plug in ( electric ) again not sure why these “brand experts” are giving these false answers. Hope this helps

Q: Why does it turn off automatically when I don’t have the timer on?

Q: If you have multiple of these can you use the remote to make each seperate one display a different color? The one remote seems to program all the colors to 1 color. Is there a way around this?
A: Yes, one remote will control all units of this product in a close range. If the units you have are close together and you want them to be on different colors, you will want to unplug all but one, change its color, then unplug it and do the same thing to all of them. Q: How do you get the light to stay steady one color? I select the purple color and the light fades and won’t stay steady.

Q: Does this work well plugged into a timer? If power is cut then restored, will it turn on again? Or do I need to turn it on with the remote? And will it remember the color?
A: Yes, if the light is unplugged, it will turn back on when power is restored and it will be on the same color as it was before it was unplugged.
