I purchased these as a temporary fix until my custom drapery panels were completed in my local sewing workroom… The material? Surprisingly nice, especially for the price. However, the “blackout” lining is NOT blackout whatsoever. Room darkening? Sure. But blackout, they are not. Already repackaged and getting returned asap.

This item came highly recommended and I ordered 3 sets. First set (off white)was badly soiled so I returned it. The second 2 arrived today - both soiled and the shipping bag was wide open on my front porch. I will not be ordering from Target.com again!

Ordered the off white blackout curtains. I liked that the fabric is linen, sturdy, with cloth/foam backing. No odor at all. Curtains block out all light for my guest bedroom. Easy to hang on a tension rod.

These are *Not* blackout curtains. They filter the light but do not block it. Maybe because I chose a light color? Since they are advertised as blackout I am really disappointed. Blocking the light helps me sleep better and I was up too early because light was coming in. These were relatively expensive and don’t do the job I bought them for. I do like the tabs for hanging so they easily hang in neat folds.

These drapes have a lovely heavy linen look and feel that I really like. They are almost a dupe for the Pottery Barn ones. They hand very nicely. But I’m taking one star away because they aren’t really black out shades. They darken the room somewhat, but if you really need these to make a room dark for sleeping during the day, you will be disappointed. If you just need them for privacy and to keep the afternoon sun from overheating a room, you’ll be happy.

this are NOT 100% blackout so if that’s what you’re looking for then these are not it! they are extremely light filtering / room darkening so they’re perfect for our baby’s room as she can still learn daytime from nighttime. the fabric is durable & they def have helped to keep the room cooler in the summer days as our house isn’t not shaded. they’re pretty pricey but that’s simply most things at target 😅
