Q: How many HOURS battery life? Please don't say "battery life is dependent on the frequency of use and the quality of battery installed". I would use duracell on timer function.

Good flameless candles
Timer is accurate. I have had two other flameless candles.That don't time correctly and come on at any time if day but those Room Essentials candles have an accurate timer. I like the two pack because I can get 10 hours of light at night. The power company here is inept and I've had several power outages. It's nice having those candles going through the night so I can see even when a nighttime outage hits.

Popped in the batteries, replaced the little door on the bottom and…nope. One candle flickered for a second and went out. The other would not illuminate at all. The problem is the batteries are not snug enough to maintain contact. I heard one battery fall out of the slot. Will be returning.

These are really cute, I have them on a timer in my bathroom so they light it up at night so I don't need to turn the bright overhead light on in the middle of the night. The one thing is that there are three tiny little legs on the bottom of the candle that are visible if you have the candles at eye level or above. Basically they don't sit flush to the surface they are on.
