A: Great question! In essence, fill power is a measurement of how fluffy the down-filling is. Most down bedding sold starts with a 550 fill power and usually tops off at 650/700 for most bedding. There are exceptions but for most bedding you find in a store a 600-fill power is a great start. The higher the fill power the more resistance in a pillow and for comforters it means more warmth in combination with the ounce weight and construction type. Thanks, DOWNLITE
