A: No, typically cheesecloth would NOT be safe in an oven. Cloth/cotton does burn.

I make a lot from scratch, so using cheesecloth is common in my house. I hated having to buy the o e use kind because it would fall apart or get messy. This one though, I'm addicted. I bought 2 and I am very happy with it. It's perfect for getting the little bit of buttermilk out of our homemade butter. It's great for getting chunks out of our home made bone broth. We even use it to get pulp out of juice. It's great and very versatile.

I use this in my Spaghettl sauce when using pork ribs for additional flavor. I was surprised at the thickness of the product. I usually use the type that is similar to gauze. This did work and, I think was a bit easier to use.

At 36 inches x 36 inches and with a one-year warranty, this cotton cheesecloth by Figmint is made with quality and customer satisfaction in mind. My previous purchase of "cheesecloth" ended up being something akin to first aid gauze. This piece of cheesecloth has a soft and light but noticeable heft. It's so lovely that apart from its conventional uses -- washing rice when it really needs to be drained, straining homemade plant milks -- I'd love to find a use for it that doesn't involve cutting it to an application-appropriate size. Something about it inspires imaginative possibilities

This cheesecloth is huge! It is woven tightly and should last a long time. I use it to strain almonds when making almond milk. It works really well for that! The size is generous and I sometimes use it for brewad proofing as well.

I didn’t know I needed one of these but I’m so glad I have it. Great quality and made to last. I’m using mine for straining the seeds out of strawberry jam. This cheesecloth has so many uses. Every kitchen needs some!

This cheesecloth seems high quality. The weave is open but tight - it doesn't seem like it would wear down that easily, but allow easy straining. I didn't give this a 5 star because it's huge. It's 3'x3' which I think is too big to use when you are trying to strain something. I think it would be more practical if it was 2'x2'

This is a nice, substantial cheesecloth. It's very well made, tightly woven and I think it will last for longer than other cheesecloth I've tried. It's great for almond milks, or to use for crafting, which is my main use for it. If you want a great quality cheesecloth, this is one you should try. I highly recommend it.
