A: Hi - the shade material is a white-poly blend. The shade will look different depending on what bulb you use and whether the bulb is illuminated or not. Thank you for the question.

The description states that the shade is white…surprise it’s not!!! The shade is gray!! I ordered them because I wanted a white shade! Also the lamp is silver so why is the hardware gold? Returning!
