Q: Are the candles white or turn multi color?
A: They come in white but you get a remote that allows you to change the colors to different ones. You can do each one individually or together as a group! I highly recommend them.

Q: Are these able to be used outdoors?
A: Yes, you can use them outdoors because they are just hard plastic candles. They operate on batteries so you probably will use a lot of them if you are using them for outdoors illumination.

Q: These candles have a screw-locked compartment on the bottom closing up the battery housing. What Philips head screwdriver fits this screw? I've tried many, many sizes. Candles are useless as is.
A: I had to use a very small screwdriver from an eyeglass fixing kit to open mine and once I put the batteries in, I just taped down the flap so I wouldn't have to deal with the tiny screws again.

Q: I know there is a duration timer of 4 and 6 hours to have the candle go off. Is there a timer for it to go on???
