This isn’t a comforter. It’s more like a coverlet. It had a smell to it but went away. I think it was from the plastic bag it came in. It will work for the warmer months but not year round.

Too warm for summer

I really want to love this comforter, and maybe it’s just not the right season yet, but it’s too warm for me! Sure it’s a nice quality, soft and plush, however I purchased thinking it would have “cooling” aspects and work for these summer months. So I’m hoping it wilI be perfect come fall/winter. I also didn’t love that after first wash, indigo color from the inside of my dryer transferred to this fabric (I bought it in white), which I’ve never had happen on any other linens before.

Pros: Silky soft, cool to touch, lightweight comforter with nice detailing x stitches on it, excellent color (blush = light purplish mauve). This comfort far exceeded my expectations! It screams luxury at an affordable price. I purchased the teal and it a little bit darker than the stock photos, but I have limited natural light In my space. The king size has extra length on all sides so my husband and I do not have to fight for covers at night. It does wrinkle easily, probably would be simple to steam but it does not bother me. I would highly recommend this product!
