48" Solid Wood Ledge Wall Shelf with Rustic Metal Bracket Driftwood - InPlace

This shelf served my needs perfectly! My husband actually painted it because the wood coloring was a bit lighter than we were going for. Very easy to install and seems sturdy. The only thing that could be better would be a small ledge in the front to keep items from falling off. But overall a great product!

Love this shelf! It’s simple, clean and rustic, all wrapped up in one. It also seems well made and like it will last. I’m planning on using it to display the “natural treasures” my kids bring home- interesting pieces of driftwood, cool stones, etc. and think the style of this shelf will be perfect for that!

The shelf “wood” pattern and color looked really good in person, the color has brown/gray variants. The metal sides are sturdy. It does come with hardware, screws and wall anchors. I was hoping to use it for books, but there are only 4 inches of space with the lip running along the back. I was nervous getting it shipped, the box was a little beat up. There wasn’t a ton of packing material inside but it arrived with no dings or scratches.

Best advice I can give - if you are buying this shelf online, make sure that you are reading dimensions! This shelf is much longer than I anticipated! I would rate the hanging of this shelf as a medium difficulty. You will most likely need two people to get this shelf on the wall, as it is so long. The shelf is hung with three screws, one in the middle that is instructed to be drilled into a wall stud, and two on the sides that are hung with wall anchors. Due to the design of the shelf, the screws on the ends can be a bit of a pain to get in. If you have an extender bit for your drill, you will be good to go. If not, you get to start the screws with your drill and finish with a screwdriver like I did. Takes a little bit longer, but the end result is the same. I love the look of this shelf, the wood stain is a great gray/brown, and the metal accouterments really make the shelf pop. It is a very very sturdy shelf when hung properly, and the instructions say that it holds up to 17 pounds when hung properly. That's quite a lot! Overall I really love this shelf, between the design and sturdiness, if you are looking for a long shelf to complete your wall space, this is a must have!

This is a very nice quality shelf. The color is a light greyish wood. The only reason for four stars is that, it’s very narrow, which I wasn’t expecting it to be quite that narrow. It could only be used to prop up picture frames or small Knick knacks. The other area of concern was the smell. When I opened the box, the order was very strong. A very strange smell. After letting it air out for a day or two in the garage, the smell completely went away.

I love this shelf. It is attractive and sturdy. It is easy to hang with included tools and it holds quite a lot. The black metal brackets with the wood grain shelf work with modern, farmhouse and boho decor. I can see hanging this shelf in any room of my house.

This shelf is a nice size for any room. I find it to be a farmhouse type of decor. It's very sturdy and made well. Thinking of buying another to put in my office. Great product that I think anyone could find a place for in their home.

Easy to install and hang up on the wall. It looks really nice hanging up on my wall. I am loving this shelf it adds some accent to my room. Very roomy, I have a lot of more room to add things to the shelf.

This shelf is the perfect size to hold plants, stuffies, and even picture frames! I am so in love with the wood detail and the black metal brackets that give it a solid yet stylish feel. We have been looking for a shelf to hang over our bed since the kids are always leaving a stuffie or three in our bed.Plus mama needs a place for more plants! This shelf is seriously perfect. My husband said there was no way the pots would fit but HA we showed him! I highly recommend this shelf and may have to go and see if they have it in different wood colors for other parts of the house!

Great, sturdy shelf! I love the color with the black metal hardware! Easy to install with basic tools as well, just make sure you have a level of course! The length is perfect for the wall I put the shelf on. Definitely recommend!

First let me say how gorgeous the colors are on this shelf. Second, the width on the shelf was very disappointing. There is enough room for me to fit my daughter's night light on without it hanging off. If it wasn't for this I would have rated this shelf 5 stars.

This shelf is really nice quality! It’s a great size for displaying photos or other small trinkets. It came with the sheetrock screws and necessary hardware. It attaches to the wall on the two ends and in the middle for extra support. I think this shelf could be considered farmhouse, or modern.

Large shelf very nice Woody waste material very easy to Assemble and it's a very good width so my plan fits properly and it holds a good weight. I think this is a very good addition for inside home or outside home or in the patio

The shelf and packaging had a very strong, fairly unpleasant smell. I recycled the packaging and let the shelf air out, and after about a week, I no longer noticed an unpleasant odor. This comes with 3 wall anchors, 3 long screws, and an instruction sheet. We didn't read it (since one of us was convinced he knew how to do it) marked & measured the holes, used a level and then quickly hung the shelf upside down. It actually looks good either way. We did flip it, and it is more difficult to mark and level the way it's supposed to hang. It's not as steady on the wall, and kept shifting as we tried to mark the holes. The shelf is narrow, but great for photos, small plants and other small decorative objects. The wood and metal looked best against lighter walls, and the shelf seems sturdy. We're going to play around with the height and what we want to display, but overall we really like it.

This beautiful shelf is 4 feet long. I love the color of the stain. I hung it the opposite direction that it shows on the picture because we liked it better that way. The wood on the shelf was warped a bit which made it sit uneven on the wall. We adjusted the screws so we can’t tell.

Love the color of rhe shelf and the overall look! Easy to add accent pieces and color to make it pop. I wish the actaul shelf was wider so I could add wider items/decor on it. Esasy to mount and super stylish!

This is a sturdy shelf with some personality! I really like the added details of the back and side that wrap around. It's added character that a lot of similar styles skip. It's a nice depth, too. With the length of it you need some medium to larger decor to perch up there in my opinion. The depth lets you do that.

I am in love with this shelf. The color is great and definitely matches the description of driftwood. I took a picture of it against a door so that you could see just how large it is. It was very easy to install and it came with all the necessary screws that is needed. It definitely feels well made and sturdy, not cheap at all. It is a great way to spruce up any room while adding storage room. I would definitely recommend this.

This shelf is absolutely beautiful! It came in a secure box, and came with hardware and easy to follow directions. It is extremely sturdy, and made extremely well. Brackets are nice, and will make hanging easy! After my husband and I paint our walls we will be hanging this in our man cave for his helmets. Comes with hanging kit that involves wall anchors for a secure hanging. I love the distressed look of the shelf. Perfect for any room in your home. I cannot wait to get this hang in our basement to display my husbands mini helmets!
