4ct Punch Needle Patches Craft Kit - Mondo Llama™

This was a cute and easy project. This was my first time doing this type of craft. It took several hours and I had to be conservative with the blue yarn as I was close to running out, but it ended up coming together. I'd buy another kit.

I ordered this set of four-themed coasters ( well, the materials to make them, at least!) Absolutely love them, they are so cute, and as a craft project, it's nice to do something where you can see rapid progress, with a clear ( and quick end point to boot. Haven't done needling before but I have made rugs though, which is basically the same skill on a larger scale. fI don' think the instructions are particularly clear but because I had an inkling what I should be doing (as Celine Dion mentioned, it's coming back to me now). My only gripe really is that by the time you've done three or four, the final coasters feel a little too similar to the others you've already done. I would say this kit is OK for older kids as well as adults as long as they can be responsible and safe with the punch needle tool. It's sharp. The pattern is not too tricky to follow however. Lovely craft with achievable end results. Five stars

The directions were impossible to understand.

This kit is poorly made. The yarn pulls out of the fabric immediately and was very frustrating for my child.

The idea behind it is great and these are cute but the execution is terrible. The canvas is too thin and doesn't hold the stitch. I tried multiple times to get the stitches or loops to hold and it just shreds the canvas. We're going to return it, unfortunately. My 6yo is disappointed because these were so cute.
