Q: How do I switch between light modes? It only flashes when I put the batteries in.

A: Hi Danielle, Thank you for your question. On the battery pack, there is a tiny black button. Each time you press the button, it changes the light mode; there are 8 modes. When you press and hold the black button, it will shut the lights off.

Q: someone asked if these can be placed on a timer, the answer provided was that they can not. However, that's not true the remote has a timer mode. What I would like to know is how long that is?

A: Hi Steph, at that time this item did not come with the timer feature. The timer feature is 6 hours on, 18 hours off.

Q: Can I connect multiple sets together (daisychain them)? If so, would they work independently or would the first one's setting button change the settings for all connected sets to be the same setting

A: Hi AmHawaii...no these are not connectable string lights.
submitted byLV - 3 years agoA: yes, you can connect lights together so you can use one remote for all of them by just simply taking off the USB and soldering the wires to the USB that you want. both sets of lights will be in sync.

These lights are ok. The hooks to hang them didn't work, I had to use push pins. The pattern options are very overstimulating and I ended up just using the solid, not flashing one. Easy on the eyes and a nice color, although I wish they were a bit brighter (and I'm on the brightest setting). And the last thing, one of the lights at the very bottom of the strand doesn't work, because the wire is detached somehow. For 15 dollars, you can find better lights on Amazon with more colors and options.

They’re cute, but in the battery pack, one of the batteries keeps losing battery fluid/acid. I have replaced that battery multiple times and it keeps happening. Not sure if it’s something that’s making it too hot within the pack. Worried it’s going to start a fire or get battery acid everywhere since it’s leaking out.

Many reviews say the lights stopped working after a short time. I just got these so I can’t speak to that. But I am returning because these use a remote, and this remote and my Roku remote apparently use the same wavelength and interfere with each other.

Worked fine for a few months with rechargeable batteries. After about 5 months stopped working. Also a lot of extra wiring that has dose not have leds that you have to figure out what to do with.

TERRIBLE NEVER BUY THESE !! They were broken out of the box ! They came with batteries that were broken. Not even the remote could turn on! Usb broke right away didn’t even hang them up! Plus USB bent!
