Q: can these be put outside and still work
A: Hello...these are meant for indoor use and we don't suggest using outdoors, as they are not waterproof or water resistant.

Q: Are the color modes just solid-color or all-color? OR can I combine 2+ colors of my choosing, ex. red/green for Christmas or purple/orange for Halloween?
A: Hi Lilac, unfortunately you cannot combine colors of your choosing.

Q: how do you set the timer so that lights don't shut off so quickly?
A: Hi Sunny, on the remote control press the timer off button - lights will not turn off.

Q: Are you able to select the colors you want to display?
A: Hi Grandma....yes, you can select from 16 colors, including Cool White and Multicolor and 8 effect modes with the included remote control.

Q: my remote does not turn on the lights, nor can i get the battery door open to check and see if it needs a battery. this is ridic.....can they not make it easily openable?????
A: Hi coffeedrinker....sorry you are having this issue. You can access the battery on the bottom center of the remote. Push the switch to the right and while doing this, slide out the case.

Q: How come the batteries aren't included. What if someone doesn't have batteries because they thought the lights came with them? What are you going to do about that!!
A: Hi defective...sorry you are upset, but it clearly states on the packaging the battery requirements and that they are not included. Most electronics do not include the batteries.
