Wrong parts included
It came with missing parts. For the end caps, one was supposed to be A 1” and one B 7/8”. I got two A parts so not able to assemble and install. Bummed

Cheap Quality Poor Design
This rod is very poorly designed. The set screw is steel and the rod is very soft aluminum so the rod is set up to fail. The second I turned the set screw a quarter turn it stripped through the cheap aluminum and would no longer work at all. I suspect that’s why many are failing. Spend a little extra and get one that’s made better.

So far, so good
Although I could have done without my landlords passive aggressive microexpressions of irritation with me for trying to help as he fumbled around putting this up (I'd invited him over to install a new showerhead, not the rod, but let him proceed because he seemed to want to), it got installed. So far so good. It makes the room look bigger, by elevating the curtain, which I like, and the stall certainly feels less cramped. I don't understand the giant holes in the end pieces where the rods go in - seems like an invitation for spiders or mold, but it does help maneuver the thing around to install. The silver caps were a little hard to snap on to the black end pieces, but oddly they came off easily as it was being put in to place, and flopped around. He never bothered to snap them back on, so I'll have to. Just found it weird they were so fiddly to get attached, but came un-attached with little instigation. The first night I hung up 4 shirts I'd had drying on the old rod, and it held up well - although they weren't wet/heavy at the time. The mechanism is interesting, but it works. Never thought I'd find a curved rod that held up by tension, with no need for hole drilling, so I was excited about this. So far it's doing a great job. Do recommend.

Broken shower curtain rod
I followed the instructions and the curtain rod ends snapped in half when turning the tension rod. I discovered that the end pieces are made of plastic and not metal like their competitors.

This thing was created by Satan himself. I’m convinced that it was brought straight from Dante’s Inferno and placed on Targets website as some cruel joke. Difficult to put together and be ready for it to fall! A thrill seeker? this is the rod for you cause you get the thrill of it falling mid-shower and instantly having firsthand knowledge of what it’s like to be naked and afraid.

Great in theory, unfortunately not in reality
When I saw this I thought it would be great, but unfortunately I think this is only rustproof because It's so difficult to install in the shower. I'm a pretty stubborn person so I tried different things to try to make it work, however one of the issues I simply couldn't fix was that it wouldn't stay firmly mounted in my shower. Perhaps I just purchased a defective product, but in my opinion this product seemed to be poor quality and cheaply made.
