Q: Does the condensation get absorbed by the coaster or does it just sit on top?

These coasters are a beautiful set. Unfortunately, they were not packaged with care. No bubble wrap or any other protective cushioning inside the box. Good thing the coasters didn’t break in the box while it was in transit. With that I think these are strong coasters.

The weight and quality is top notch. However, the color description is off - leans more gray than beige. This could just be the pieces that we received since it is a natural material and color variation is expected, but not exactly what was expected.
