Q: Do I need to remove the wood bulb to install shade correctly? Have tried the shade both ways and it seems way too high or too low each time. Doesn't look like other people's pictures

Q: Is there a type / shape of bulb you recommend so the bulbs are not do visible under the shade from across the room? Regular bulbs really stick out. The picture on the box doesn't show bulbs protruding

    Buyer beware

    Really wanted this to work. Needed bright floor lamp with high wattage. Unfortunately the threads don’t keep the pole screwed together in one piece. It was frequently loose &mat the base and near the lamp shade - so it was more of an on the floor lamp (horizontal vs vertical.) Very disappointing.

    top stem keeps bending over.

    love this design BUT this is the second one I have purchased after returning the first one due to the same problem. The top of the lamp is very unstable and bends over time and no matter what I do, it doesnt screw back on straight. there is a serious design flaw that is ruining an otherwise wonderful design.

    This is the perfect floor lamp when you need extra light. I had looked at several styles but decided on this Threshold lamp mostly because it has two light bulbs and two chains so you could have more or less light. I usually pick Threshold brand items because they are made well , look nice and are fairly priced. I actually purchased this lamp during circle week (30% off) but I would have paid regular price because I liked it so much. Looks great in my living room. Happy with this purchase.

    Nice lamp

    I like that there are two separate lamp sockets independently switched of each other, in which you can use any combination of standard bulbs, up to 100 watts, into each one. I use two 40 watt bulbs, perfect for my use. It's sturdy, attractive, and doesn't look cheap. Easy assembly, from unboxing it took me less than 15 minutes without reading the instructions. Tip: When assembling the pole sections, unless you have kung fu grip, wear rubber palm or similar gloves for better grip while twisting the sections together. And it was on sale, 30% off, so even better! Would I pay full price for it? Probably.

    Poor experience

    Expensive lamp, looks like it was a return. Zero packaging around the item. The item came damaged and scratched. Pretty disappointing that there was no checks done after the item was likely returned previously.
