Spring cleanup, cutting down last years growth of our ornamental grasses. Old, corded trimmer couldn’t cut through so used to cut them by hand. This trimmer cut through with ease. Took me about one quarter of the time and effort as last year. Only wish I’d bought this years ago.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my fourth purchase of a Worx 40 Volt tool. I had a great deal of trouble getting the hand shield on. The instructions are not clear which way the shield should go. It will fit both ways. I called Chris in tech support and he helped me. I still wish the shield was a little higher. This tool is very heavy with the 2X20V battery option. The weight would be a deterrent for some. Product does a great job! I purchased it to trim bushes on our lakefront property. I did not want to risk using hedge clippers with a cord over water.

Why is good about this product is it is portable and has a long cut life. I trim my hedges with it when trimming the tops, you just walk along with a back-and-forth movement. Turn the blade 90 degrees and you now can cut the front and back ith out changing you hand position.

I was kind of skeptic this battery hedge trimmer would have enough power to cut through my ivy and hedges. Was amazed how light it was, had enough power to cut through my hedges where my corded one would get stuck. By the time I was done the batteries still had charge.

It's a good tool, but break something and you cannot find a prt on line plus none in stores. The darn website has no portal for parts, therefore, for service they flunk.

Worx trimmer is light and push button to start and doesn't make much noise at all.. and the handle feels great and you can even rotate it if you need to.. I love this thing and have shown all my friends ..

It was doing a perfect job of cutting down everything in its path until the trimmer just stopped working. It lights up and shows full power and makes a clicking noise but won’t start up. I tried cleaning the entire tool and even cleaned all of the connections and leads. I tried every battery I have to see if it was maybe just a bad battery or two. Nothing worked unfortunately. The tool worked for about a total of 1 hour before it stopped.

I own several Wokx products. and love them. I had an edge trimmer I cut weeds / Bushes off my beach that brand name did not make it through a season, so I bought this work 40 v. man so much power for a long time. A true man's tool. If I could change one thing, it would be weight, that will happen as technology advances. do yourself a favor lose the gas or the cord. go freely to conquer your weeds

I'm 70 years old and the trimmer is just a little heavy compared to my old corded trimmer, but I no longer have to drag a 100ft. extension cord around! Plus I don't accidentally cut that extension cord anymore!

I bought this for my own birthday gift and immediately put it together and attacked the box wood hedge. It was a wonderful experience to see the box wood trimming fall to the ground with ease of movement and wonderful quietness. I have gas powered hedge trimmers also but won't be using them, as long as remember to charge the battery of the Worx trimmer. I can do without the gas fumes and noise, that won't let me think. The weight does not seem to be a problem with the type of trimming I am doing, but it is heaver then a gas powered trimmer because of the motor.

I bought this a few weeks ago and it was a wise purchase. I trimmed all my hedges and even cut some brush in the back part of my lot. I cut cleanly and effortlessly. I strongly recommend this product.
