A: Yes, you have a couple of options. The first is to press the DISPLAY button on the remote. This will turn on all the LEDs on the unit. To view the display again, simply press the DISPLAY button once more. If the unit is turned off while in this mode, the LEDs will automatically turn on when it’s powered back up. The second option is to press the SLEEP button. After about a minute, this will turn off all LEDs on the display—except for the sleep indicator. Another positive side of this AC, the quality of air. It's fresh, no smell of working AC, and easy to cling removable filter. The size was scary... but when it was installed, its looks clean, simple and modern. We love the new TCL AC! Highly recommend. Requires 2 people to install the unit.

Putting in the the window was a breeze. I did give it 4 stars tho because, I was unable to connect it to the app. I followed all the directions and tried multiple times, with no luck sadly. I have a lot of my home appliances linked to my alexa and, unfortunately was not able to with this window unit. It does a great job cooling tho and is ice cold so, that's a big win. I love that it comes with a remote and, it shows the temperature digitally on the the face of the unit.

Bought the 10000 and the 6000 btu units for the house. The 6000 is worthless. No fan strength, barely pushes out air. Had to put a fan next to it just to circulate some of the air. Lots of noise. Really want to return it out of the box. Do not buy this unit. The 10000 is better. Stronger fan push. After five days the fan is now sounding clunky. Waking people up at night. This sucks. Spent $600 on AC and it feels like a waste

I set this AC to 68 degrees and it did nothing. It only cool the room a bit during the heatwave but not to the prefer temp. Normally 65 is cold for me for any other AC but when I set it to that on this AC, I can still feel a little bit of the heat coming from outside. Not even the setting of 62 help cool the room all the way even when the room is of under 250 square feet. Definitely investing in a new AC as soon as possible.

DO NOT BUY THIS AC UNIT. The second I plugged it in, it started making a HORRIBLE noise, like the sound of a baseball card running through the spokes of a bicycle. Absolute and complete GARBAGE. Too make things worse, I bought it on the absolute hottest day of the year, so to say that I am disappointed is an understatement.

We purchased this unit specifically for a bedroom based on its features, positive reviews, and the included remote. Unfortunately, we’re very disappointed—primarily due to the poor quality and especially how loud it is, even on the lowest fan setting. Despite the favorable reviews, I would not recommend this unit or the brand.

Terrible. Defective. In fan inside was warped. Outside was fine, there no dents in the outside part of the air conditioner. This is clearly a poor quality control issue. And now it’s the dead of summer and will take forever to return/replace.

Needed one for my apartment because my bedroom gets hotter than the rest of the rooms so my thermostat doesn’t do much justice. This is just what I needed! Installation was easy, only extra I had to get was some insulation paneling and duct tape to seal the gaps so that was only an extra $24 total. Thankful for my handyman of a partner to hook it up lol

On to the review though…we don’t have central air and rely on window units to cool our two story house, so we purchase lots of units as time goes by. This summer is supposed to have some especially brutal days and this unit came just in time! Not only is it a nice unit for cooking big spaces, it’s a great brand and we have been using it the last few days with no issues whatsoever. It easily cools the area we need and is not very loud or disruptive . The remote is so handy to be able to adjust the temps from across the room!

Most of the reviews I read were for a promotion but I went for it. I’ve had it for only 1 days so far. Took a little bit to cool down the room, but now it’s staying steady. Gets cold enough for a light blanket and I like the eco feature and remote. Pretty easy to use and install. All in all, I’m happy with my purchase. Will update if things go wrong with it. Personally, I don’t think it’s any louder than any other window AC and is actually quieter than my old one. But be prepared for a humming noise when it’s on.

it operates. it cools down my home office area eventually. it's kind of loud. the vents' directionality is severly limited: from 0° up approximately 15°, and side to side doesn't seem to change. it has a weird air-blowing pattern that i can't really discern: it seems like it blows air out about 2 feet maximum and then no breeze can be felt. this would not be a good AC if you wanted it to move air across a room or aim it at a door or something. this would be a great AC if you needed a white noise generator to drown out other sounds.

It cools and dehumidifies really well extremely cold, full and midsize room. although the only complaint is that the eco-mode switches on and off like it's trying to go into eco-mode but then re reactivates. I wonder if anyone else has had this issue, but it will cool off my bedroom in under 15 minutes.
