This just spits water all over the place. I have used smaller units from this brand before and had success so I thought a larger one would be helpful, it’s a mess and doesn’t really cool.

Great aircon small but terrible. The only thing the water container is not removable so when need to clean need to bring the whole unit. When set to maximum cold it’s kind of noisy especially at night it’s bothersome. But so far it’s okay it serves the purpose esp this kind of summer too humid & dry. 👍

Okay so it makes my room cold but it is very loud like double the noise of a box fan but I'm fine with it because I'm a heavy sleeper but if I wasn't it would be an instant return for me
I'm surpised!

I bought this item because I wanted a cheap way to cool down my apartment without air conditioning. The apartment got to 87 degrees. I have a ~400 sq-ft bedroom. In 90 minutes of use after freezing the cartridge, it dropped the bedroom temperature down to 77 degrees. It does use quite a bit of water which is probably the reason as to why it drips it out of the front. For the $40 I paid for mine on clearance, you will not hear one complaint from me for it delivering results as advertised!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s nice that it can be used anywhere in the house but it was kind of complicated to operate. The drawers are hard to open and it is not very user friendly.

For the amount it cools it is not worth the money. Even when putting ice in the water and the pad in the freezer the temp barely felt any different. Condensation builds up on the plastic vent and there’s a bunch of water at the base after using it. It also made the humidity in my room go up so now my room is hot and humid.
Quiet, cool, and convenient, but watch out for dri

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Arctic Air Turbo Chill XL for a few weeks and it’s actually worked better than I expected in some ways, but there are definitely a couple of quirks to know about. First off, it’s not loud at all, at least for me. Even on higher settings, the sound is minimal and easy to ignore, which is a big plus if you’re using it in an office or bedroom. It also does blow noticeably cool air, especially when you keep the water tank filled and the internal cartridge cold, it really does feel refreshing when you’re sitting close to it. But here’s where it falls short: it does tend to spit little droplets of water out of the vent, which can get annoying if you have it on your desk near papers or electronics. I also noticed that if you freeze the internal filter insert before using it (like the directions suggest for maximum cooling), it actually causes the unit to leak water more than normal as it melts. So while freezing the insert makes the air colder, it’s kind of a trade-off because of the extra water mess. Final Thoughts Overall, I’d say it’s a decent little personal cooler for a quick chill if you’re not expecting it to replace an actual air conditioner. It’s quiet, blows cool air, and is great for personal use just keep a towel under it and skip freezing the cartridge if you want to avoid leaks.
Not worth the money

Still Very Hot - 2 months ago, Verified purchaser
Worked for a few months, but stopped working. The lights would come on, but very little air was coming out. Unfortunately, it did not come with an instruction manual or a QR code to one (red flag), so I had no clue how to troubleshoot this. Even when it worked, water would get everywhere and soak my carpet from time to time. It was also very loud. Tl;dr: Don't waste your money. Just but a box fan.

I could've spent $15 on a box fan and got the same result. The whole "blows cool" is literally a myth. With an ice pack, ice, or cold water- it simply just blows the temperature of the room air out. My ac doesn't work, it's really hot in here and i spent $80 just for this to blow hot air.
