This is much more powerful and effective than most personal air conditioners, but it's still portable and convenient. It lasts a long time and helps cut down on our energy bill, because we can just run it in the room we're spending time in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fan is a nice concept, cooling with a mist, but unfortunately the product has many downfalls. Some positives first, it is lightweight, so it’s portable and easy to move, small, so you can conveniently set it on a desk or small area. The problem with it, is it is noisy and it leaks. It will not cool a room, just whatever it is blowing on, so it’s really just a large personal fan.

In theory this would be an awesome machine that would keep you cool and the room humified. It is the perfect size for a nightstand to keep you cool while you sleep. The issue I had with it is that it leaks. I tried several differnt ways and read the instructions to make sure I was doing it correctly but water would pour onto my nightstand. It did get cool while I had it on and faned a nice mist which I would love while sleeping but I am to afraid it will damage my nightstand. I guess you could put something under it to protect the surface you have it on but I am not going to do all that.

I only got to use this little gadget for 2 nights and then it quit working. I thought it was a great deal for the price, but it turned out to be one of those too-good-to-be-true stories. It might be good for a couple of hours at a time, but mine didn't hold up for what I need it for. That's too bad because I wanted to love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is compact, portable and very easy to get set up and started. The fan is quiet and you can even select the color scheme for the light. However, I did not think that it provided any cooling beyond just the air circulation provided by the fan.

My exercise room does double duty in my basement. Without windows, it is difficult to control the temperature and humidity. When I'm hot, I hyperfocus on the heat and have trouble thinking about anything else. The Arctic Air Turbo Chill XL is helping with that! The mist helps me feel cooler and the compact size allows me to move it around the room to accomodate the areas I'm using. It's quiet on the lower speed and easy enough to add ice and water whenever they evaporate. Once things really heat up this summer, I'll try freezing the filter and moving the unit out to the kid's clubhouse. They're already big fans of the colored nightlight!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We tried it and cool air definitely comes out we like it but I’m not sure about if it will drip or not . So I’m not using it in a big room but I think it will perform making the air cooler. Recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Arctic Air turbo chill is small but mighty!! It packs a cool punch when it’s needed especially as it’s getting hotter outside!! I used it in my kitchen when I have spend the day baking , and I have used it while we were in the backyard have fun in our tent and needed to cool down. I love that it oscillates so everyone can feel it and I love the different speeds as well. The compact size makes it easy for any office, home or camp site that has an electrical outlet.

I like that it’s portable. You can bring it anywhere in your bedroom, living room, restroom. It’s powerful and efficient and easy. You just pour in water and the air cools immediately. I put mine in the living room and turn it on while watching TV.

This compact little A/C is so efficient! It works reall well to chill a room done fairly quickly. Love that it moves from side to side and mists too! A necessity for summer.

I am going through premenopause and my family prefers it if the house doesn't have icicles in the doorway. Anyway, I have been looking for something small, energy efficient, quiet, convenient and COLD! Well, I made a huge mistake not listening to other reviewers about this item!! There is no clear worded directions on how to get the filter out, how to put water on it to freeze it (it's confusing bc there are holes on the ends that let the filter soak but can I just get it all wet??) - I did, doesn't tell you how long you should keep it in the freezer just "until frozen"???? This is just the beginning of me unboxing and trying to get on feeling like my skin is melting. The instructions are useless but there are QR codes in 3 different spots in the instructions, the box and sticker on the machine. So OK, that's cool I'll just contact them and get this going...NOPE!!! It took me to an inactive Go Daddy webpage with a mass amount of spam and bugs! If you take nothing else from this, take this one! Don't go in there! I had to manually shut all my stuff off for an hour. Since I have no phone convenient to check other sites, reviews, suggestions ECT I ended up figuring out that you have to pop the front off but remove the sticker that's holding the sides first. Then you have to wiggle the filter out by a little tab on it. I mean wiggle wiggle ok? Figured I should leave the filter in the freezer for several hours (since I don't know what it's supposed to be like "until frozen*. You obviously can't use the machine without that filter. 😐 4 hours later, I put the filter in, the front vent part will not clip on and close with out that sticker., and when I turn it on... IT IS SO LOUD!!!!!!! It sounds like I am vacuuming in my room. Warmish air starts blowing out and I waited and waited and waited for it to get cooler than the room. It took over 30 mins and me having to adjust the fan speed to the cool setting then of course oscillate! Ugh! I'm so fed up. I left it in my room, door shut for over an hour while I made dinner. My room was even worse bc I turned the fan off so I could see what it did. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Oh, I'm not done! Right on the front of the box it says "EVAPORATIVE AIR COOLER"..... There was a puddle on my night stand and water just leaking from the vents and mind you, ITS STILL NOT EVEN COLD! This is honestly one of the 1st negative reviews I've ever given bc I usually just only say good things, but I don't want someone out there who's already struggling financially and in pain, like your face is going to melt off, to go spend a dime on ANY ANY ANY ANY of the "as seen on tv" ARCTIC AIR. What a bad day. 😔 Anyway, sorry this was so long, but you deserve the truth! I hope if you're really thinking about getting this item and you are just skimming the reviews.... READ THIS ONE! Ps. Should be a zero star!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t know something like this existed - but it is perfect for our bedroom, which always seems to be 10° hotter than the rest of the house. This machine is the size of a small space heater and provides just the opposite - cooling! There is an insert that can be dampened and then frozen in the freezer as well as a space to fill with water to provide a cooling mist.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I really like the idea of these types of air conditioners, however it adds SO much humidity in the room. Humidity makes me even warmer so I feel like it’s counterproductive… The idea is good but I feel like an extra filtration system would help!
