submitted byGG - 3 months agoA: Yes, it will run for 8 hrs. I placed the ice and water as directed and turned it on. It ran from 12:15p - 10:15p and then it shut off. Water/ice container was empty so I refilled it and restarted it.

A: Yes you have to keep plugged in with the usb power cord. Super easy, I use my laptop's USB plug or a power adaptor.

This lil fan is great! It was on clearance sale for $10, my wife brought 2 one for herself and one for me. For a fan this size can definitely move a lot of air. If u want to be very cool, u can add water and ice to make the mist very cold. It really does work, its like having a very small air conditioner. Plus the ring that is outside on the blade housing lights up different colors. U can choose ur favorite color by tapping on the light button on the top of the fan, or u can it change colors like a rainbow. I know summer is over but its still hot outside right now so if u wanna stay cool without using those big air conditioner units and running up your light bill shy high, get u one of these RIGHT NOW. Keep the box so when it does get cold outside, u can put it up for next summer.

Bought two at two different stores and didnt work!
This is the second one I purchased and had to return they did not work. I purchased the first one in June with my five dollar Kohl’s coupon at a completely different store. That did the same thing that I purchased yesterday at the target in Springfield. Both of them powered on for a few seconds, and then automatically turn off. I do not understand why they are selling these and not working and as I read all the reviews over 50% of them have the same problem. These purchases were made from two different stores months apart. A matter fact, when I went yesterday to purchase at that target, and then went to the other target not far both are fully restocked.

Buy a cheaper fan, not worth the money
This is JUST A FAN! Not a cooling evaporator as advertised! Yes, it has 2 mist stays but ONLY helps if you are DIRECTLY in front of it. Better off buying the $1 handheld battery fans. This is POWERFUL for a small FAN, but ONLY a fan!

worst thing ever
I can not belive after using it for only two days it got a short circut and it blew up. I am trying to call customer service of target since I do not have a car to come and pick up this for return and they do not agree and they say you must come in person so I should pay uber for 40$ for returning this awful horrible product which is 30$.I am very disaapointed.

Tiny Fan!
This could be my fault for not looking at how big (small) this fan is, but I expected this fan to be much bigger for the price. There are definitely fans out there that are way bigger for $30. This should be described as a tabletop desk fan. Even though you can put ice in the bottom, it hardly makes a difference. Do not recommend unless you just need a slight room temperature breeze blowing on you from 1 foot away.

Doesnt work
It doesn’t do a darn thing. It just blows hot air around. You can feel the mist if you’re just a few inches away from the fan, but beyond that it’s just hot air.
