This is NOT for watercolor
The book is fine, it’s paper. Not super heavy weighted. A little tricky to rip out. But it’s definitely NOT for watercolor. The paper pills with the tiniest amount of water. Since that was what we were buying it for, I was disappointed but my kid will definitely use the paper.

Great quality at incredible value
My daughter goes through all of the Mondo llama sketchbooks and paper pads so quickly because they are great quality and super easy to travel with. I have bought craft paper from other retailers and other brands that was too thin, transparent or ripped easily, and the Mondo llama paper is far superior. This particular style notebook is also a winner, because the spiral binding has not been damaged at all, despite heavy use for my toddler, and she is still able to use the perforation because it was done well enough that her little hands can pull apart a page when she wants to.

I got this pad for my 5 year old that loves to draw. The sheets are very sturdy, and you can use watercolor on them too! I love that you can remove pages without having to rip them because they are perforated.
