Q: I can't find any reference to it being BPA-free, while other similar target branded pitchers are. so is this item BPA-free or not?

A: No, it does leak a lot, but otherwise is a great pitcher. I use mine for cold water, but could use it for hot tea too.

Great AquaTru Pitcher Replacement
I have a AquaTru water purifier and my glass pitcher that comes with it broke when I was washing it (other dishes fell on it). This pitcher is almost the perfect replacement. It’s slightly shorter but I made an easy adjustment and it works great with the machine!! It’s also much cheaper than a replacement pitcher the company sells (which was out of stock, smh). I would definitely recommend this pitcher if you’re looking for a plastic free alternative. Special note, if you’re using it as a replacement for the AquaTru pitcher, you have to use the AquaTru lid (which fits perfectly!)

Rubber gasket failing
Wanted a pitcher that isn’t plastic; this was great for several months but then the rubber gasket around the lid started to fail and now every time i pour from it, liquid drips out of the spout and down the side of the pitcher pretty much every time without fail and it’s a mess lol.

LOVE this pitcher.
I love this pitcher! I've had it since February 2025 and use it all the time for when I make teas. It's strudy and big. The lid is stainless steel and works great. Only downside is the handle. It's a bit awkward and when I have it full, you can't just hold the pitcher by the handle. But no biggie! Plan on getting antoher one and it's priced so reasonably!

I found this while looking for a new tea pitcher. I love it! It is the perfect size, doesn't take up a ton of room in the fridge, it is glass. I'd love a silicone cover for the bottom, because kids are rough. But other than that it's perfect. and I don't have any issues with it leaking.

I wanted to like it but ....
I really wanted to give this at least 4 stars but the but is a big but . First of all anything glass nowndays isn't going to be very thick unless you pay good money for it so this was better than average on thickness for the price point with a nice heavy duty top and decent bead around it . But it's a dripper, yup it drizzles every pour no matter what's in it how i tilt or which opening i use . So every pour i have to waste a paper towel or dirty a hand towel .

I was looking for a glass pitcher. Owned one for about a year to two years. It is leaky, still better than some other pitchers I could’ve chosen. My teapot lid fell into it and broke it. So my only advice is glass is super fragile. Have to be considered of temperatures if you’re adding hot or cold. Still recommend.

Four spots where water comes out!
Biggest issue is the spout/water coming out. The main opening will let water come out. But the lid seal doesnt go down far enough. This lets a second stream of water come out at a different spot. The lid also has a bunch of little air? holes all around the perimiter oin the bottom of the lid, and the top of the lid. Both sets also let water through. So you have water that can come out at four spots. I dont know how it made it to market. - Glass could be a bit thicker to imo.

The pitcher leaks every time you pour through it. It also grew an unbelievable amount of mold if left in the fridge for more than two days — I use it for iced tea and have never experienced this with another pitcher. So gross!

I'd pass on this one.
I bought this pitcher and one from another store for the same price. I compared, and ultimately decided to return this one. I did not actually use it, so I can’t speak to the leakage others have mentioned. But, the design itself is boxy and felt very bulky. It just felt unnecessarily difficult to pour in comparison to the other one, which was the same size. Other thing I did not like was that the lid does not swivel to change spouts. You have to pull the lid off and reposition it for a different spouts. Not the case for the other one.

Great glass pitcher
I am trying to avoid plastics so I’m glad it’s all metal and glass, except for the rubber gasket. I always needed to use a towel when pouring because liquid would drip and run along the side of the pitcher.
