Q: I can't find any reference to it being BPA-free, while other similar target branded pitchers are. so is this item BPA-free or not?

It’s a lovely pitcher don’t get me wrong, but the handle does feel a little weird to hold since it’s flat, not too much of a problem though, just odd. The lid is hard to turn if you want a more open pouring option vs the other side that has a strainer type end. You’d have to remove the lid and place it back to switch between the two since it’s got a very snug fit, or risk scratching it up and potentially damaging the rubber fixture the lid has on it.

Inexpensive and looks nice, but it's poorly designed. Who designed the spout? Did they ever test it? It's impossible to pour without spilling or at least having a little dribble down the outside of the pitcher. Also, I'm doubtful that the handle can support the full weight of this pitcher when it's full, considering the shape of the handle and how thin the glass is.

I'm returning this. Highly doubtful this is actually made of glass. I had a material scientist friend look at it and he's doubtful as well. It's most likely acrylic. It's also not well made. The handle will probably break off because it isn't mechanically designed to actually hold the weight of 60 ozs of water and actually use to pour water into a glass.

This glass pitcher was purchased so we could brew larger batches of tea to drink throughout the day. We've been using it for a week and it is exactly what we need. This pitcher can withstand water that is heated in an electric kettle. Our electric kettle holds 1.8L of water, which fits perfectly into this pitcher. Just add the tea bags to the pitcher, then add the water. We leave it on the counter and drink hot or cold tea throughout the day. When the pitcher has cooled and the day is over, the remaining tea pitcher is placed in the refrigerator. The lid seals tightly and there haven't been any issue with leaks. Excellent value for the price.

I bought this 3 weeks ago to keep chai tea concentrate in the fridge. It looked pretty, but the quality isn't great. The spout drips everytime you pour from it and the double outlets on the lid do not allow for an even stream of liquid, which also makes a mess when pouring. This morning I was handwashing the pitcher and the bottom lightly tapped the edge of my sink while rinising and broke a chunk of glass off the bottom. It would be one thing if I had dropped it into the sink, but it should be able to withstand just tapping the basin.

Love this pitcher! It’s elegant, not too big or too small, it’s the perfect size! I do recommend vendor to change the delicate sticker warning with different glue as it took a lot of work to remove it from the lid. I swiped a little olive oil to remove it. (Photo attached)
