These were bought for a shower gift. They were ordered online, and our local store had them for pickup. After I got home, I looked them over, and two of them had obvious imperfections. I had to take those back and picked up replacements. They are nice in design, but the quality is not the greatest. Not sure how durable they will be.

They feel sturdy and don’t chip easily but they scratch so easily with the utensils. I also bought the bowls that match these plates and use them to beat eggs with a fork and the bottoms are all black. Would not buy again just for that reason.

I bought 8 online to use as our main dishes and like them a lot. One arrived broken - online packaging left a lot to be desired with them and I'm surprised it wasn't more. The replacement was also poorly packaged but arrived in one piece. But with a small black spot. I washed and scrubbed a couple times but could not remove. I knew I'd always be trying to scrub it off each time I clean dishes so I returned it and got another without a spot. Happy with my spotless plates that can go be integrated well with other dishes :)

I absolutely love the look and feel of these plates, but they just lack the quality I desire for a long-lasting piece. The porcelain chips very easily and they are marked when using knives on them. They do not stain, however, unless it sets into any small scratch marks. Another complaint I have is that the plates I purchased in the store do not match the ones I ordered online!! I believe another reviewer pointed out the same issue and that the two plates were manufactured in different countries. Because of this, the mismatched dinner plates do not stack nicely.

I love the look of these and the weight. They are heavy and seem like they will hold up to our kids abuse. My only problem, as other reviewers have noticed too, is that I received them in two separate orders, one was plates made in China and one Indonesia. The ones from Indonesia were very different, much lighter dots, almost hard to see. I had already taken the stickers off and washed before I noticed so I guess I’ll keep them but that was a little annoying.

Great plate for the price! I bought these to replace some porcelain Crate and Barrel plates with a similar beading. They were a little clunkier, but did the trick. I think they are great. I imagine an entire matching set would be really pretty for everyday.

Even though I love the design, I would not recommend these salad plates because they chip very easily! Half of mine are chipped and I've only had them for about 6 months. None of the dinner plates have chipped so I don't think it is our mishandling of them.
