A: Stiff rubber like the flexible edges on rubbermaid storage container lids. Not oven safe. No recycle triangle like on plastic. I like it better than the red lids on pyrex. Seals but not air tight

The concept is fantastic, but the spout is not well-designed for the volume. With or without the lid. The spout is too short and too flat. Worse than any other pourable measuring cup I've used. You have to pour slowly to avoid spilling at any capacity. At halfway, it is really difficult to pour without spilling. Beyond that, it's impossible. Doesn't matter how careful or slowly you pour, it goes all over the place.

I needed a large measuring cup with a lid and a pour spout for making ice cream. I've used it twice for that purpose and it fits the bill. I wish the bottom of the handle was attached, but that's just my personal preference.

My daughter was looking for a measuring cup she could use to rinse her rice and could measure at the same time. I was happy to find this for her. There was no other cups out there especially in glass that could measure the amount of rice she needed to rinse and cook. And, it holds 8 cups! After I picked it up, I loved it and ordered one for myself. I make large amounts of rice too, especially for my fur babies. Very happy with my purchase and also the price.

This is marked as dishwasher safe. I typically wash this in the dishwasher but needed to use it again and washed it by hand. When I dried it with a paper towel, the printed measurements began to rub off, rendering this completely useless as a measuring vessel.

I loved this measuring cup until after only about 5-10 washes in the dishwasher the measure marks were completely gone. So I bought a different one with the markings etched on the glass. Disappointed that the paint wasn’t strong enough to withhold the dishwasher!

2 out of 3 of my measuring cups arrived shattered due to poor packaging. The one that survived seemed fine. After a short period with smaller measuring cups stacked in it, it also broke and had a hairline fracture rendering it unusable. We had not even used it yet. These are supposed to be borosilicate glass, which is very strong. I would say that these live up to par to the borosilicate glass measuring cups Target used to sell.
