Q: I just got 2 frames and there were no instructions. Please advise how to put together

A: The picture is sandwiched between the two pieces of plexi and then the 4 gold corners hold it together. One piece of the plexi (the back piece) has a built in hanger to hang it on the wall.

Q: Can a painting with matting be placed inside this frame? If so, how thick of a picture with matting can this hold?

submitted byKimbrea - 4 years agoTarget staff supportA: It's not designed for a picture with matting. The little corner screws are very small, so you wouldn't want to use matting unless it was the same thickness as a piece of copy or photo paper.

Q: Is it easy to slide pictures in and out of frame without taking it off the wall?

A: The pictures do not slide in and out. It needs to be taken off of the wall and unscrewed from the four corners for a picture to be replaced.

Q: What hardware would you recommend using to hang the frame? Nails? Screws with anchors?

A: This frame hangs from a hanger on the back of the frame NOT from the four corners. A wall anchor and screw works best for hanging.

I was afraid this might look cheap because it’s acrylic, but it doesn’t. Looks great and really lets whatever you frame be the focal point rather than a large frame. Holds photo very secure without needing tape or anything unlike with other floating frames.
