For a gray terry cloth towel set, machine wash in warm water to help preserve the color and remove bacteria. These are sturdy. I like the Terry loop ones but hate the square textured ones, those ones are so rough! I'd use them to clean they look good for scrubbing but I'm afraid the dye might run with cleaning chemicals. I wish they had these in a pack of all one kind and color

I’m so glad I gave these washcloths a second chance. The first washcloth I took out pulled one of its threads when it caught on my bracelet. I had these on my return list but before I could return them the remaining ones were used and loved by the family. These washcloths are just the right thickness, soft and wash well. These are keepers.
