Disintegrated, support didn't care
Came with pool didnt even last 6 months, started deteriorating. Called Intex support and just got the run around and no replacement. Still need one, dont want to buy another that's just going to fall apart!

This solar cover came with the XTR 18'x9'x52" pool package. It only lasted for 1 season. Probably my issue wasbecause it was not covered underneath the actual pool cover that it began to disintegrate from the sun.

Prevents evaporation
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pool cover does a great job at keeping debris out of the pool. Also helps prevent evaporation. The strategically paced holes in the cover allows for water on top of the cover to drain so the cover stays put during rainy or windy weather. I have not yet tested the temperature difference in the water with and without the cover since I was mainly using the cover to keep out debris and prevent evaporation. It is lighter weight and easier to handle that other pool covers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did make the mistake of not realizing the size of this product in comparison to the size of my pool. But I still decided to give it a go I placed it on my pool. Just let it float around for a couple days. I did notice that it warmed the water underneath the pool slightly. It is cold here now but I do live in Florida. So we get a lot of sun as well. I think that if it was on the correct size pool, it would work even better and this product is definitely worth buying for your pool.

ordered 18ft x 9ft was shipped 15ft 7in x 7ft 8in
I do not know if there is an 18ft x 8ft solar pool cover. I would assume there is since they advertise the 18ft x 9ft pool cover.. It is very frustrating to receive the wrong size after waiting for my P.O.. with no explanation! The shipping department either lacks professional service or they just do not care what the ship. Not Happy!!!
