Drano® Snake Plus Drain Cleaning Kit is a simple, two part solution for unclogging your drain. Drano® paired a 23-inch flexible snake drain clog remover tool with its most powerful drain opener gel to clear your drain the first time guaranteed or it’s free. See snake unclogger packaging for more details. Use the snake drain cleaner tool to knock clogs loose, then pour Drano® Hair Buster Gel down your drain to clear the clog away. The concentrated gel pours straight through standing water and works fast to restore your drain to a free-flowing state. Drano® Snake Plus is tough on hair, soap scum, and other gunk, but safe for all pipes. Our pipe unclogger tool kit works best when used together on stubborn bathtub clogs, slow draining showers, and more. Clogs happen, but with Drano® you and your drains are unstoppable.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: STEP 1: Use the 23-inch tool to loosen the clog. Insert the tool into the drain opening as far as it will go. Never force the tool into the drain. Note: some drain stoppers may need to be removed to accommodate the tool. Move the tool up and down two inches to better loosen the clog. Carefully remove the tool from the drain as there may be attached clog material. For sanitary purpose, immediately dispose of the tool before proceeding to Step 2. Do not attempt to use the tool after pouring the clog remover down the drain, as the gel could splash up during tool use. STEP 2: Pour the concentrate gel down the drain to clean out clog material. After discarding the tool, slowly pour entire contents of the bottle down the drain. Allow the gel to work for 30 minutes. Flush with hot water to clean away any remaining clog material.

A: Excellent question! Drano® can be used after other products once successfully getting three gallons of water through drain, meaning it must flow consecutively and not just trickle. I still poured the draino down and waited the 30 minutes. It had no scent and worked quickly clearing out anything left down in the drain. Worked very well for a stubborn clog and would definitely buy one in the future. I did receive this kit for free to review it and I would recommend

But yeah, I use the drano, and it seems my drain is working a little bit better, so

It didn’t seem to work but then we bought this new bottle and it finally unclogged everything. It worked pretty well, and will keep buying it.

Drano brand has been great help cleaning up them. It is very quick and easy to understand the instructions. Does not smell bad at all and very tolerable. I will recommend anyone to buy this to clean up your pipes from hair, grime and dirt.

It is a little flimsy though which makes it a bit difficult to maneuver down the pipe. The snake pulls out a lot of hair and in combo with gel my shower drain is clear!

I understand that there are some clogs that make the snake necessary but I think you only need one or the other. This worked fine to unclog a slow tub but it’s not much better than their stand alone products.

I’ve lost a lot of hair over the past year, so we have a lot of build up in our shower drain! The snake with the draino product was so much more efficient at getting out the hair instead of just pushing it through! It is kind of a mess and more effort than using regular drano, but I’m hoping the lasts much longer!

It inserted easily into the drain, but one attempt to bring it out, and it broke off inside the pipe! Some of the plastic teeth on the part that did come out were broke off, too. I didn't even use any force to pull on it. I do not recommend it. I've used this same type of pipe snake before without any problems. I didn't even get to use the drain cleaner because now we have to get the snake out.

I used the hair remover first and there wasn't a lot of hair in the drain (which is great). I used the product and waited 30 mins then ran hot water. It seems to be flowing smoother. I also used half on the sink and had the same experience. I would use this product again.

The instructions on the back of the box were helpful and again, easy to follow. I was sad it was a single use product (both the tool and gel used only once) but it works so well that you don’t need more. Just sucks it can’t be used again for other drains. Recommend if you have one drain that just never gets unclogged!

But once it gets to the clog, it works well to get the clog moving. The drano itself is pretty much what you’d expect from a drain cleaner however the cap is very easy to open, there is no additional foil seal making it way easier to use.

Fortunately, with this product we were able to successfully drain everything needed in order to unclog what was plugging the bathtub. It is a simple tool and easy to use system. My mom swears by it and I have finally successfully completed using it myself.
