Best hand soap!!!! The scent isn’t aggressive like the aloe version. Second best is the blue moisture blast one. 10/10

The changed smell is repulsive. I was a loyal Irish Spring customer for decades. Marketing classes had been teaching about the "New Coke" debacle since the 1980s. Now they can add your New Irish Spring soap to the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" list of marketing failures. Whoever convinced your executives this would be a good idea should be fired. Bring back the original WITHOUT that crappy flaxseed oil and I'll buy it again. Until then, Zest works as a substitute.Oh, and quit LYING that that "original" is original. You are bucking for a class action lawsuit.

Like many others, I have used Irish Spring bar soap for decades and I never thought about switching. Well, a few years ago I bought some and immediately noticed the smell was off, and the soap felt kind of slimy and seemed to leave an oily feeling on my skin. I tried using it a couple more times hoping that I'd get used to it, but I just can't stand the smell and so I threw the bar out. Please, please bring back the old formulation if you want me back as a customer! Thanks for reading.

I bought this for years and since they added flaxseed oil there is a rancid smell. Disgusting soap.... unfortunately

It does smell a bit different from what I remember but still is fresh to me. And still does the job on keeping my armpits and 4skin smelling very fresh according to my woman when she goes downtown. Thanks pals.

the OG was so good! this new "original" is so bad.

I'm a long time user of Irish Spring original bar soap and recently started using the reformulated version. It's amazing! Great updated scent, long last bars, and doesn't dry out your skin. This is the only soap I'll use. Thanks for always having a great soap and consistently improving it.

You call your current Irish spring soap original. But you added flaxseed oil, it's not original anymore. I don't want oil in my soap. Why did you add flaxseed oil? We buy Irish spring for the kind of soap It is, it's not like dove. We want that krisp clean feel, keep the flax seed oil out of it. Whoever suggested adding flaxseed oil. should be fired.

I don't know what the older formula was like. I will review whatever I have. Personally, I have smelly armpits. Dial Soap wasn't cutting it. I thought, what am I going to do? It turns out that Irish Spring bar soap WORKS for my armpits. I was becoming hopeless about it. I took off a star because the smell it leaves on the skin is not the same smell as it is when you are lathering in the shower. However, the smell it gives off in the air is absolutely crisp and refreshing. I'm not sure why there is such hate for it. I think it's exactly what I needed. I don't care, however, for the after-smell on the skin too much - it's kind of piney, but the smell dissipates within an hour or two. Not a big deal to me. I can't decide if I want a more feminine smell but it's not a dealbreaker because the smell does not linger on the skin for very long.

saw someone else say this too, soap started giving me extremely painful rashes in armpits. itchy at first and have now turned into stinging painful. i only use natural deodorant so the only thing it could be is the soap

Used to be the best soap in the store; now it’s terrible and gives me rashes. Please change the formula back!
