A: Thank you for your question. There was a package and formulation change in 2022. The Dove Sensitive Skin Body Wash is Sulfate Free now.

A: That's going to vary based on how much you use each time, but I generally get about a month out of a 34oz bottle - that's with a shower every day. The pump on the bottle is great - one pump is all that's generally needed.

Bumpy texture (which may feel gritty during use) may be the result of pieces of over-dried soap which doesn't dissolve as quickly as the bulk of the bar. I am so disappointed I thought this was lotion. My bad for missing it in the description but on the bottle itself "body wash" is in small font at the very bottom. Ok, fine, after using it 3-4 times I finally really read it because it's a weird texture. I immediately hop in the shower before I fully rubbed it in, but how os this even body wash? It doesn't lather? Also why is body wash more than $10?? That's lotion price.

I have used Dove Sensitive for many years. The new formula doesn't have that gentle, nearly non-existent smell - it's more caustic. The new formula creates a slight burning sensation in my genital area, even though I don't directly use it there; then leaves that area itchy long after my shower. So sorry to say I can no longer use the product. I'd so love to have the old Dove Sensitive formula back.

Idk what it is about this product, I bought it from a local store and it worked horribly, it gave me rashes on skin and I’d not recommend this product at all. Might just be my skin but it left multiple rashes, especially on my s lower stomach(bullybutton and etc)and upper legs(from knees and up)Now, I can barely walk without my legs rubbing up against each other and burning. I recommend Olay or Eos instead.

My dermatologist gave me a sample to try and I have regrets. Generally hypoallergenic products are fragrance free, but this one isn't and I think that is irritating my eczema

This soap is absolutely drying. I bought it because I liked the Dove probiotic soap (which I assume was discontinued). This one made even my husband’s hands dry, and he does not have sensitive skin like myself.

I bought this soap because I suspected sodium laurel sulfate was causing it itching on my body. This has a different form of laurel salt which they claim is hypoallergenic. But it’s not. I was suspicious because it was so extremely soapy and lather. My itching didn’t improve until I started using Eucerin wash. It was completely gone then I tried washing one time with the Dove, sensitive skin and woke up in the night with bad itching on my body. I took a shower at midnight with the eucerin in the morning I no longer have the itching.

My son suffers from severe excess and we have tried every soap front Aveeno to honey and dove sensitive is the ONLY one that does not flame up his skin and he smells great!
