Stokke Tripp Trapp Newborn High Chair Accessory Set - Vanilla White

Doesn’t click into the lowered position, which makes it feel unstable. I’m not a big person, but one time I leaned slightly on the seat, and it collapsed into the lowered position, which scared both me and baby! Pretty pricey for what it is.

This insert, alongside the high chair, has been a game changer for our newborn. Since was 6 weeks old, we’ve had a safe, cushy spot to set him down while we cook and eat dinner. The design of the chair means he gets to be part of the family already when at the table. Plus, the insert is comfortable enough that he can dse off in it (while supervised). Honestly, one of our favorite purchases notwithstanding the higher cost when compared to other brands.

I decided to get this for my second child and am so glad I did! Having her elevated offers so much peace of mind with a dog and 2 year old on the loose. I love having a safe place to put her and don’t trust her in the baby bjorn bouncer.

Highly, highly recommend, it is perfect for everyone.

Absolutely love the newborn seat! Didn’t initially intend to buy given the relatively limited timeframe for use but am so glad I did. We’ve used daily since day 1 for my now 3 month old.

We absolutely love the Tripp Trapp Newborn Set. It allows our baby to sit comfortably at table height so they can be part of family meals and daily interactions. The seat feels very supportive and safe for a newborn, and the angle keeps the baby comfortable. The materials are soft and easy to clean, which is very helpful for busy parents. Installation was simple and it attaches securely to the Tripp Trapp chair. Overall, it’s beautifully designed, safe, and practical. It makes everyday moments with our baby much more interactive and enjoyable.

Have 3 of these chairs, best part is the newborn attachment. Puts baby up, away from the ground, dog, other children and allows for me to watch baby and interact even when I’m cooking dinner!

Wish we had this with our first two children! We used the chair for our toddler at our dining room table prior to our newborn being born, and he loved it. Super comfortable and adjustable for his legs to fit nicely under our dining room table, without them being squished. He had a booster on the chair prior and his legs couldn’t really fit under the table. Now we use the chair with the infant seat attached for our newborn in the kitchen where I spend so much time of my day in! She is super comfortable and it’s so easy to attach and detach if needed. It’s so nice to put her down in a comfy spot up high so my toddlers cant pester her too much. It’s been a lifesaver when I need my hands! Definitely pricey but totally worth it!

We used the newborn attachment daily until our babe was 5 months old! Perfect for having him join us for mealtimes and morning coffees. He especially liked the toy hook for books! It was also very easy to clean in the washing machine.

Our baby is only 4mo old and I don't know what we'd do without the newborn attachment! Living in a small apartment in the city, this has been invaluable for numerous things: - having her with us during breakfast and dinner - having a safe place for her when we're in the shower (the chair itself is lightweight so we move it right on into the bathroom with us) - a place to chill when she has to sit in on dad's work calls The newborn attachment and Tripp Trapp have truly made our lives so much easier and we have used it since day 1 to help us around the house.

It's easy to install yourself just follow the instruction, I hope my child would love it too when he's born! Excited to start using it soon.

Our girl is a little small to be buckled in snug at 2 weeks old and 7 lbs. we've used it a few times though and is nifty to get dinner in. The toy hanger is a little low for any that we have, they always are right on her face. Hope to use it more and more as she grows.

The great thing about this chair is that you're able to use this chair from birth, thanks to this newborn seat. We've had other infant seats but those were either too bulky for the kitchen or they sat on the floor which isn't great when you have a dog. With the TrippTrapp set we were able to bring the baby alongside the table. The great thing about this attachment is, having used just the seat before, we know we can transition our infant into the high chair when the time is right.

The style matches perfectly with our kitchen decor as well and I plan to get the toddler seat attachment and maybe even the tray as he grows! We own our own business and to be honest, the one time we can just be there as a family is dinner time. Most times at dinner the baby is in the bouncer on the floor next to the table and I felt like she was in some way an outcast(or at least to me it looked that way). With the Tripp Trapp Newborn Set, she is now right at the table and has now been engaging so much more. Even my two year old talks more about her at dinner where as before, he would ask “Where’s Baby? Where?”. The newborn seat was not hard at all to come off and transition to the chair itself and my 2 year old didn’t mind trying out the chair as well. He thought he was so cool getting to sit in his sister’s seat. I may have to buy another Tripp Trapp due to my 2 year old wanting to be like Sissy. Another way I used this chair was when I had to do my hair, put make-up on, make dinner, etc, I would put the baby in the chair to keep her close to me and out of the way of others trying to hustle and bustle in the home. She would just go all through the house with me in her chair, haha. This chair is great for families who want the whole family, including the babies, to eat together but also works well to have the babies at almost eye level with you while you do other tasks.

I wasn’t sure if I really needed a chair for my newborn as we have other bouncers on the ground but let me tell you, this chair was great! I loved that our little man was able to be at table height during meal times. Our toddler also loved having him higher to interact with him when he was awake during meals. Instead of having to look down, they are at eye level and makes it so easy to talk with them. Assembly was easy. It comes with a little toy mobile holder where you can attach your own baby toy. I like the idea of a chair that grows with a child. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star is because you have to purchase the “growing chair” parts separately. It is not all included with one. But like I stated I really did love this for my newborn!

As an exclusive pumping mama I really wish I had this set-up from day one. It would have been a lot easier to pump and feed my baby simultaneously! And my neck and back would have thanked me. I was able to build the Tripp Trapp chair in less than 30 minutes while watching TV. It was so nice not to have to go to the garage and find the tools I needed or ask my husband for help. Next the install of the newborn seat took literal seconds. The chair tucks completely under our kitchen island and our little is now able to join family meals and watch me cook in the kitchen while playing with a toy hanging from the toy bar attachment. I don’t have to constantly turn around to see if she’s doing okay on her playmat. The incline is very easy to adjust as well! I can’t wait to purchase the baby set and tray because our solids journey is right around the corner. I just love that this high chair will last years to come. My boss told me her kids still fight over who gets to use it at meals and they are 3 and 4 years old.
