Abstract Tufted Area Rug - Threshold™

I have had this rug for 7 years. It’s in a high traffic area (my living room), with kids and a dog. Pro- the design and patterns are amazing! The muted colors make it subtle enough to not over power the room, yet it seems to tie everything together! Love love love the shapes and design and the multi-textures. It’s also nice and thick! The colors also hide dirt VERY WELL and cleans up even better! We have messy kids and at times a muddy dog, so we have put it to the test. Con- It pills. Threads become loose also. I’ve spent countless hours on my hands and knees getting rid of the pills with a razor, but it continues to pill. It also sheds a lot, I thought it would stop, but after almost 8 years, I still end up with wool pieces stuck to me when I sit down on the ground. Overall, I’m glad I purchased it, despite the cons, it seems to be a solid rug that has completed my mid-century modern living room together! It gets the job done!

I loved this rug when I first received it. Pretty quickly, though – with regular wear and tear – the rug started to show many, many loose strands, which only get worse with vacuuming. I also opted for the extra protection plan at time of purchase, but have been told it doesn't cover this type of damage.

After keeping my eye on this rug for years, I am so happy I finally bought it! It’s gorgeous- modern yet cozy and sophisticated. It’s surprisingly high quality and so plush under my feet. It feels luxurious to me after having a thinner rug in my living room prior to this one. The colors are slightly more subtle in real life than they appear in the photo and I think this rug would go well with many different aesthetics.

Absolutely beautiful rug but it sheds a lot! I kept it in hopes that it would stop shedding after it settled since I loved the look and colors. I regret it because I’d find pieces of the rug on my hardwood floors constantly and the canister would fill whenever I vacuumed it. Finally donated it since it was in good condition and my house is honestly cleaner.

I've had this for years, and I still love it. The quality is great. I have a LARGE dog who loves to sleep on it, and it's under the kitchen table that gets used a lot. It's still in great shape - I'm thinking about getting the larger size. Great Value.

Beautiful rug - quality issues. This rug is striking. The colors and design are beautiful. However, after less than two months in a room with very little traffic, it’s already pulling in several places. I don’t recommend for a high traffic area.

This rug is amazing! It’s much thicker than I expected it to be for the price. The colors are vibrant. If you are on the fence with this rug, buy it now! You will not regret the purchase.

The online photo of this rug makes it look like the major tones are white/gray/light tan (with blocks of aqua/teal and gold). In reality, it has a lot of yellow tones, so I needed to return it. The rug quality appeared to be good, though.

Love it! Nice and thick, pattern is beautiful, and bottom is smooth so I don’t think a rug pad is necessary. Looks great under my desk for my office!

This rug is a great price, especially for the quality and it being a wool rug. The colors were slightly more muted than in pictures, but beautiful It was thick and heavy duty. I ended up returning only because it was a bit small for my space. I wish it cam one size larger. Thanks Target for making it easy to return a rug!

I love love this rug. It is so soft and cozy. It feels well made and durable. It’s wool, so it does shed a bit, but I’ve only had for a couple weeks so it may taper off after a while. The colors are so pretty and not too busy or glaring. I am so happy with this purchase, well worth the money.

This rug is plush, high quality and looks much like the photos. Perfect for a bedroom.

I bought this in a 9x12 for my flex room. Kids have slept on it, danced on it, etc. Every time I show the room to parents, I receive compliments. It's modern but easily softened with your other decor. Don't be afraid of the shapes. Once you get a couch and chairs, and white (alabaster) walls, it looks great!
