We also had a hose that was leaking around the connector my husband wrapped it around the hose and it stopped the leak. This is a great product for an emergency.

It works with plumbing, repairs, temporary fixes on just about anything, and overall just allows me to work without having 20 different rolls of tape for each situation. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Alien shield tape works great on flat surfaces but not so great on round objects because the tape is so stiff. It's very thick, so really not for smaller hoses or areas that are round-maybe more appropriate for a flat surface.

Since it was relatively new, I tried working to resolve the issue with other products but nothing worked long-term. I received this product and it solved the problem. No more leaks.

If it is leaking, try the Alien Shield- you will be impressed by this product A box comes with 3 of the 5 foot rolls. To top it off, It works on surfaces that are wet or dry. It instantly seals- you do not have to sit and wait . It is an instant seal. Just amazing.

You never know when you’ll need it so it’s best to be prepared. My toilet tank cracked and was leaking. I applied the Alien Shield tape and it completely stopped the leak. It works very well and I haven’t been disappointed yet. This is awesome for emergency repairs so keep it on hand.

I cleaned the area around the hole, cut the tape to size, and placed the tape on the hole. The tape will stick to your fingers so it's important to hurry and place it on the item right after cutting. The instructions are very simple and easy to read.

The Alien Shield Waterproof Tape really works. I had a small leak in my washing machine discharge hose. Cleaned and dried the area, and cut a small piece to cover the hole. Leak fixed!! Rather than replacing the hose, which would have taken quite a bit of time, applying this tape took just minutes. I almost wish I had other leaks to try this out on other items.

He has an inflatable boat he uses for fishing. This Alien Shield came in handy when the inflatable boat was punctured! Easy to use and sealed the puncture immediately. Great product to have on hand!

I have an aquarium with a crack and thought if this really does what it says then holding water shouldn't be an issue. I was wrong. It was an issue. I put the tape on first so it was on a nice, dry surface and then filled the tank. Thats when I saw the water leaking out again. I was a little disappointed. As a regular tape it works great. Sticks hard and holds tight. For leaks. Not so much.

It beats all other competing brands by a long shot! It holds up well, is easy to use, and is easy to take off. I’d reccomend it to any homeowner to have on hand in case of an emergency!

I was able to plug the leak even if the surface was not completely dry. Other tape i used didn’t work because they didn’t stick well on the surface like this tape did. I also used it on an inflatable pool that we haven’t used for a while because it was leaking, and it also worked! All worth buying. Great item

I am not very handy, but when I saw this I thought I would give it a try. It did not work for me. I am going to keep it in case I can use it on a flat surface.

I wanted to fix a few things around the house with this special tape. I have a window that is broken and can't be fixed yet, so I put this tape on it meanwhile to keep the window more intact without any drafts coming from it. I feel much better knowing it is taped and secure right now. I also had a small leak in the hose outside that we took care of with the tape and it no longer gets water all over me when I try to use it. My next projects are using it to fight off some minor leakage with one water pipe until we can hire someone professional to take care of it. If nothing else, you can always use this tape for a quick fix. It might not be totally permanent for all your household needs, but it is at least a huge help in getting things taken care of until something else can be done about a problem. I would even leave it on without needing to fix anything else in a lot of cases. I found that peeling it off the roll and cutting it is super easy. There is no mess on my hands after use. I can feel confident that we can repair anything discreetly with this wonderful clear wide tape. Three rolls of it is generous. Thickness is stronger than normal tape.

Got it just in time- I had bought a hose a couple of weeks ago and my product came,so I put it to the test and BAM my hose is now fixed,it had a huge slit in it- Can't see it because it is clear tape.
