Q: How long is this unit? What are the dimensions from floor to first step and first step to top step? I'd like to use this as entry steps from my garage to the house. Also, how thick are the steps?

A: The unit is 32 inches wide. The first step is 7-1/8" from the ground and the second step is another 7-1/8" from the first step. The step slats are 1 inch thick. The risers are 1-1/2" thick.

A: Hi Sarah, we do not provide a weight rating for our patio products. Unofficially though, the stairs should manage a 1 full grown adult ( up to 250lbs.) on the steps at a time.

You need these
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, I’m so impressed with the quality! It only took me about 15 minutes to assemble. I’m deciding between using these steps on the side of my porch, or to get into my shed. For now they’re resting inside at the foot of my bed, which made me realize they’d also be excellent for pet steps. They are solidly made and I am hopeful that they will endure the weather outside once I move them out.

Durable and easy assemble
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These steps are so much bigger than they look in the photo. They’re almost twice the size I had expected to arrive. They’re instructions are very easy to understand. It comes with all the wood and screws to put this together quickly. I love how sturdy this is. These are perfect steps for setting outside a hot tub or spa to get in and out easily.
