Tablets disintegrating
I am very unhappy with this purchase. Although it doesn't expire until Jun 2023 and the tablets have never been stored out of their bottle which is in a small suitcase, they are disintegrating into powder!

Alta 520
Four years ago I had a kidney transplant and because of that I lose the magnesium out of my system. The Alta 520 is the only thing that works for me.

Need a coating on these pills!
These pills really need a coating on them. They dissolve as you drink them down. I read this in the reviews.

Not impressed
Not liking these at all. Did not give me any beneficial effects. I take magnesium every night, and wanted to try these. Not like my Triple magnesium complex.

The item is exactly what I wanted. The reaction when it contacted other supplements was the problem.
After I learned the hard way that this item could/should not be put in a “daily pills container” with other pills, I am satisfied. It reacted with/attacked other items causing a sticky liquid in each daily container.

Needs a coating
I bought Mg Chloride for the first time. While the product acts according to the seller's statements, it is very unstable when put with other pills. I use a weekly pill organizer and this tablet began to disintegrate. I now have to remember to take it from the bottle every day. Needless to say, I won't purchase this type of Magnesium product again.

Not coated
I have learned, now, to double check that a pill is coated. This one is not and it makes me gag...if you don't swallow it in a nanosecond it'll start melting in your mouth & leaving a nasty taste. My body has gotten so paranoid about this taste that I now have developed a gag reflex when I take this supplement! ;(

Good Product with Exception
The Alta Magnesium Chloride is one of the very few mineral based magnesium products and not plant based. The only problem is the platter shape and the tablets need a coating since they are super hydroscopic and must be kept in a pill container separate from other vitamins. The tablets flake quickly forming a sticky layer on any other vitamins and on hands.

Disintegrates
I counted the tablets into my pill organizer. The organizer is divided into 7 days, and has an am and pm section. So a pill a day. The tablets started to disintegrate after one day, and caused the other pills in the section to disintegrate. Plus it tastes terrible if the tablet doesn't go down on the first swallow.

Best Magnesium
After trying other forms of magnesium, have found that this mag chloride is the best absorbed, with optimal results. If you transfer one out of the bottle to your own pill bottle, it will tend to crumble, so using the original bottle with the freshness packet is necessary.

Great product
This form was recommended to me by a health care professional as being readily absorbable and having no laxative affect. For travel, keep it in a smaller container with a desiccant pack from an empty bottle of vitamins so you don't have trouble with it "melting." I don't think it has any bad taste. The larger flat size isn't super easy to swallow but it's also not the worst I ever had. Wish Swanson's had a similar mag chloride product, but since they don't, I'm glad they have this!

Fast acting
The taste is terrible ,but I think it is the best under the list of Magnesium.
