Extremely disappointed, this was nothing like the description. We did a lot of research looking into a Bluetooth speaker that would be loud enough while hanging outside. It’s definitely not very loud unless you’re right next to it and if I walk a few feet away with my phone it starts to glitch out. If I could return this I would but we threw away the box thinking everything would be good.

Aside from the "Altec" app not working 100% of the time, this speaker is great! Some songs had my board vibrating from this thing and it was only at half volume most of the time. Unfortunately, the LED feature can only be used in shaded areas or at night and can't be seen during broad daylight.

Speaker has great sound quality but beware of the false advertisement that it can float in the pool. I had the first rock box xl and that one failed as well when I used it in the pool. I returned this one because of the same issue. They say it floats and is water proof. Well I learned the hard way. Does it float yes but water made its way inside damaging the speaker after being in the pool for 5mins. Don’t believe the rating of ip67.

This Rockbox XL 2.0 is AMAZING!!! I LOVE IT! I don’t usually listen to music through headphones, because I’ll use a speaker instead. It’s a really awesome shape, size, it’s WATERPROOF! And the sound and the bass is just everything you could ask for. BBQ, birthday parties, remodeling a house, get one to listen to your music. I cannot stress enough how awesome this speaker is.

The box is lightweight, has easy grip handlebar, and it has a light feature that allows you to choose color schemes, or light that changes to the beat. The really attractive feature is the fact that this box can get wet! We keep it poolside and it gets splashed on all the time with no issues. The sound quality is the best, way above the average!

It paired easily and provided hours of music and podcasts. The sound is nice and clear. The speaker is water resistant which is a plus. This makes it great for pool parties. It even floats! This speaker also has a charging port so you can charge you rother devices from it. The handle makes it simple to carry as well.

I love the premium rubberized feel on the handle and exterior, and I appreciate the waterproof feature of this speaker. The lights are really cool as well, especially because you can set it to work with the music or audio you are listening to, so it moves with the music. There are a total of 5 different lighting patterns/modes. The audio quality is really good too and can get pretty loud. I appreciate that you don't have to have it plugged in, and it can simply recharge with a wall outlet. Love this speaker and will be using it as my main outdoor speaker from here on out.

You can imagine how nasty everything gets that you take to float around in a river but this thing can handle it with some fun lights to boot!!!

It is easy to set up, only having four buttons. The sound quality is super clear and the bass really rocks out. I love the light feature and different modes. You can have steady lights, slow changing and even lights that change with the beat of the music. The charge lasts a long time also.

Bluetooth connection is super fast and has no problem playing any song. Even comes with a app you can download to customize the sound and color changing lights that make for an eye appealing display. The charge port on the side is a plus as well. This machine is defiantly worth buying for those who love to listen to music, it’s built to withstand all sorts of environments so no worries on where the party may be!

Sand hasn't seem to bother it any. Really happy with this products look and easy ability to carry around if need be. Able to hook onto it for it to float. This speaker is medium to large in size.

I took it to the plant where I work all the workers loved the speaker as well as myself ! It played loud and clear over the noisy machines ! I would highly recommend this speaker ! I love the colors and the facet it changes colors as well. I love that you can charge your phone as well! I also love that you can download app to play your music on it as well! This is my favorite speaker I have ever owned! We work in water as well and it is definitely waterproof as it states it it. I would highly recommend this speaker!

The 20 hour battery life is fantastic, and the water/shock/dustproof capability is definitely a plus allowing you to bring this with you to pools and the like. It is certainly loud and a great way to enjoy your music. This is definitely a must bring to parties, pools, beaches, and really any event you want to play some music.
